Watch Queens of the Stone Age's "The Vampyre of Time and Memory" Interactive Video

Following their animated, Boneface-helmed Like Clockwork... short film from earlier this year, Queens of the Stone Age have shared an interactive video to accompany the album cut "The Vampyre of Time and Memory". The video, directed by Kii Arens and Jason Trucco and produced by the Creators Project, has a seasonally-appropriate, noirish air of mystery. It stars a group of sinister maids, and finds the band surrounded by an array of dead animals preserved through taxidermy.

The interactive version can be checked out here. (Note: It may not be working for all browsers.) The regular version is below.

In other QOTSA news, tomorrow, a three-track live EP called ...Like Cologne will be released on Spotify. It features live versions of ...Like Clockwork tracks recorded live in Cologne, Germany in September. And for Record Store Day Back to Black Friday on November 29, a special "black on black" vinyl version of the album will be released.

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
