Listen: Vampire Weekend's Ezra Koenig Goes Head-to-Head With Zane Lowe in Soundclash

Yesterday Vampire Weekend's Ezra Koenig joined the BBC's Zane Lowe for an installment of "Versus", in which Lowe goes head-to-head with a band or artist, selecting songs in rounds with various themes. This time, it was Ezra vs. Zane, and each theme was based on a Vampire Weekend song title.

In the spirit of his recent ode to Nothing Was the Same, Koenig picked Drake's "Started From the Bottom" in the first round and offered up a very entertaining analysis of the song. He also picked songs by Nancy Sinatra, A$AP Ferg, Bruce Springsteen, Justin Timberlake, and Outkast.

Listen to it over on the BBC—the Koenig part starts at about an hour into the segment.
