Watch Phoenix's "Chloroform" Video, Directed by Sofia Coppola

Phoenix frontman Thomas Mars is married to filmmaker Sofia Coppola, and today, the two have shared an artistic collaboration. Coppola is the director behind the band's video for the Bankrupt! track "Chloroform", which features the band in slow-motion black-and-white, dramatically bringing their female fans to tears during a live performance. Watch it over at MoMA PopRally. MoMA also has an interview with Coppola about the making of the video.

Read Ryan Dombal's interview with Phoenix and R. Kelly (including a story about Mars watching "Trapped in the Closet" with Francis Ford Coppola), and check out Carrie Battan's interview with Sofia Coppola about The Bling Ring.
