Oh God!
Help me!
I know you don't exist
But help me anyway

Oh God!
Free me!
The cobster's been on me
On me all day

He told me I got no faith
It's the f word again
I don't believe in faith
I don't believe in sin

I thought there was a dinosaur
Lurking in my bathroom
Evolving into a bird
Oh God! I hate birds!

Oh God!
Help me!
I know you're not real
But help me anyway
Oh God!
Free me!
The lobster's been on me
On me all night

(The music builds to a crescendo like the finale
of "A Day In The Life" as the muffled bridge
is rapped in the background).

Bridge:
This is unacceptable
We need more accountability
We need more transparency
We need to know what our options are
(Crescendo ends)

He told me I'm gullible
Got no judgment at all
I don't appreciate
Can't be trusted at all

I dreamt of an anaconda
Killed it with my hatchet
As the KKK
Rose outta the water

Oh God!
Help me!
I know you don't exist
But help me anyway
Oh God!
Free me!
The mobster's been on me
On me all day

Oh God!
Save me!
I know it's only
An expression we say

guitar

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
