The Daily Show

Hello, this is my first time posting here, and surely not the last. Many of you probably know me from zeropaid, where I am wonderboy2005. Now that we've got that aside, here's my question:

Does anyone know artists or song names of the music on The Daily Show (with Jon Stewart)?

I would suppose that alot of the music is done by an in-house band, and if thats the case, can anyone reccomend similar artists and songs that might fit the bill?

Yeah... I havn't been able to find much info either.

The only thing Ive been able to come up with so far is the artist for a particular daily show ad a few months ago. The artist was Xavier Cougat (sp?) and the song was mambo gallego, but the version that was in the ad was a remix, and I havn't been able to find it.

After 2-3 years of not buying CDs, I think a comp. CD of music from the daily show would get me to fork over some cash. Its too bad there isnt somthing out there.

The artist was Xavier Cougat (sp?)

A very famous Latin who settled in LA and had a well established restaurant with his signature for many years...

You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
