They pledged their loyalty once again. Hades Events are back with another unique experience everybody should be looking forward to. After last March Vitalic's event and the Official Tribu Afterhours at Tattingers, Saturday 16th October 2004 marks the event featuring two chic performances, one being live, the other a three hour DJ set.

Coming all the way from New York, Linda Lamb (Citizen

Records/International Deejay Gigolo/New York) promises a unique and a premiere live act for the local clubbers. Together with traditional live equipment and her beautiful voice (probably the most bizarre and hugely enjoyable vocal you ever heard on a Gigolo record), she will also be

performing on an electronic piano and with an electric guitar to blow up our minds. Actually she's pure throbbing sexiness rocking the dancefloor.

Producer of the legendary electroclash tune "Hot Room", she also forms part of The Silures (Vitalic and Linda Lamb Live Project). Her productions had been remixed by DJs like Tiga and often played by the legendary DJ Hell.

A 3-hour DJ Set will be performed by Lab Insect (Elektrofon/Muller/Space Factory/Paris), one of France's finest Electro and Techno producers who started his career at the tender age of 11 years. Acid House burned down his uncertainty for music tastes. During his career he had various collaborations with artists like Richard Bartz, Savas Pascalidis and his productions had been played by artists like Laurent Garnier, Sven Vath, Dave Clarke and David Carretta. Lab Insect is promising one of the finest DJ sets ever going all the way from electro to techno.

Line up for the night includes in the Main Room: J.D.Frank, Auralbots (Live), Junior B, Linda Lamb (Live) and Lab Insect (3 hr set) plus the Digital Room featuring: Adrian V, A.I., Interface, Darin and D.Drucker.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
