After last years' sold out event Roger is Back. It's all happening on Wednesday 8th September at Buskett Roadhouse. Exit are proud to present exclusively again The Worlds Most Wanted DJ again in Malta

Roger Sanchez American House titan, chart topping producer and honorary Ibizian can be summed up by all of the above but as for now his catch-all sobriquet Roger "S MAN" Sanchez should read as level billing with his other moniker Roger "Release Yourself" Sanchez.

Right now Sanchez is all about Release Yourself. It's also the name of his weekly radio show, which has now been syndicated all over America, UK and Europe and currently reaches millions every week. " I do it every week and I programme everything. It's hard work but I Love it " Sanchez.

He's currently working on the follow up to his debut album 2001 First Contact his Single Another Chance was a huge club and MTV hit and reached the coveted number one spot in July 2001. "I'm getting the music roughed out" he says "and it's coming together organically. Kelis and I have been talking about doing something for a while she has a unique lyrical approach. A bit nuts but loyal person".

That might be so but whilst Sanchez' hat of choice is clearly Kangol, what does he favour for shades? " I'm not a one-shade man " he says with a smile. " I bounce around. Got some great Gucci, Dior and Chanel but I've also got a wicked pair for $25 shades I got in a cheap store. There is always room to try something different" As with shades, so with life Roger Sanchez might still be, to paraphrase his Blade sound-tracking hit wrecking the discoteck, but he's definitely ringing the changes too.

Release yourself -- and that's an order!

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
