VH1 Movie to Tell Michael Jackson's Story

Recommended Posts

michael_jackson.jpgNEW YORK - Going behind the music isn't enough when it comes to Michael Jackson (news) ? an entire film is needed. On Friday, VH1 will debut an original movie on the King of Pop, "Man in the Mirror: The Michael Jackson Story," the cable network said Monday.

The film traces the trials and tribulations of Jackson's life from his Motown days to his present legal woes. Flex Alexander, who plays the gloved-one, performed all the dance moves in the movie. Alexander now stars in UPN's "One on One."

Though Jackson still awaits trial, the movie concludes in January of this year when the singer appeared in court to plead innocent to child molestation charges.

How does the film approach the past charges and present charges?

Does the film portray him as innocent, guilty, or does it simply not let on either way?

How can you make a film about somebody's life, when you don't really know all about him?

That's like trying to put together a puzzle with missing pieces.

There is just something very wrong about this guy. His answers on the Ed Bradley interview were spooky and it's clear he doesn't live in the same world as the rest of us. I am at a point where I don't even care anymore about him period. He's guilty as far as I'm concerned and I don't care to hear a spin story about it.

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
