Not really my music

The class I'm in for summer session regards the stereotypical way Americans, Canadians and the world at large regard Aboriginal people.

An up-coming project requires us to make presentations as a group on a subject we had to choose last week. My group chose music.

So the goal is to find aboriginal imagery in music. As I'm the guy supposed to come through with the tech shite, I've been monkeying with creating slideshows. [accompanied with audio] While the final project will more likely deal with members of our group speaking, this was a warm up.

The tune is The Eagles' The Last Resort. It's about 6.5 mb. If you have the time, give it a watch and comment.

Secondly, if anyone has suggestions for tunes that include Aboriginal [North American Indian] imagery, please shout it out.

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
