How Thoughtful Can We Be?

heh

My family exchanges gifts on X-mas, just because it's a good excuse to buy children gifts. Like anyone else, it's pretty traditional to buy your spouse something nice, maybe something romantic. My idea of romantic? I put together a new computer for my wife back in October.

My father bought my mother a 'swiffer' last year. You should have seen her face, I thought she was going to kill him.

Any other born romantics out there?

Alas, this wasnt a big year for buying xmas presents. I tend do a lot of snooping around, so when I do buy presents, I know people are gonna get what they want. For women, its the little things that matter--so I always make sure to enclose a couple stocking gifts (a nice pen, some stationary, something they wanted)...

Ask me the same question next year, and you will get a better answer

Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
