Bill Clinton Memoir Set for June Publication

The long-anticipated memoir by former President Bill Clinton will be published in late June - a book his publishing company describes as revealing and candid.

An exact publication date has not be set, but the first printing of the book, entitled My Life, will be 1.5 million copies.

Mr. Clinton reportedly earned about $10 million to pen the memoir. The publishing company, Alfred A. Knopf, says the book details Mr. Clinton's successes as well as his setbacks, looking at both his career in public service and his personal life.

The two-term president will begin officially promoting the book June 3 at BookExpo America, the booksellers' annual gathering.

Yep--I will check it out... I wanna read the chapter that includes 'it depends on what the definition is IS is..." It will be fun to see the Clinton haters come out of the shadows again and begin another relentless round of attacks--I've never witnessed a more sordid group of cretins in my life.

Does sound like it would be an interesting read to say the least... depending on exactly how revealing it happens to be.

Usually the memoirs of past presidents are pretty slow reading. It's unlikely that his book will outsell Hilary's book....in fact Barbara Bush, Nancy Reagan and Betty Ford all had books which outsold the memoirs of their president hubbies.

That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
