A mix compilation from U&A Recordings has been on the cards for some time now. With a burgeoning reputation as one of the most exciting, eclectic & visionary labels in the electronic firmament, it was only a matter of time before some of the many highlights from the catalogue to date appeared in time-honoured DJ mix fashion. In keeping with the label's ethos of developing new, young talent, mix duties were handed over to emerging superstars, The Loops of Fury, who have taken some of the finest tracks to appear on the label to date as well as exclusives from The Loops & Zodiac Cartel and dropped the perfect blend of electro-techno, perfectly encapsulating the sound of U&A.

“The Loops of Fury have crafted a mix that not only puts the talent of U&A on display, but it also epitomises the absolute quality that this label outputs from month to month and year to year. An absolute must” [inTheMix Magazine]

The compilation is available on CD from our very own brand new online store, and we have deliberately priced these at the lowest end of 'mid-price' we could afford, and have included P+P in the cost so you know there are no hidden extras!! It's not often we make a foray into the world of physical products these days, so please support our efforts and snag a copy today.

CD (UK-only) : £4.99 (including P+P) http://bit.ly/techfunkuk2

CD (EU-only) : £5.99 (including P+P) http://bit.ly/techfunkeu2

CD (Rest of World) : £6.49 (including P+P) http://bit.ly/techfunkrow2

The compilation is also available on DIGITAL (exclusive to Beatport until 4th December), again at recession-busting prices, and includes single downloads of the exclusives from Zodiac Cartel & The Loops of Fury.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
