This time it's our Electro tracks that are repackaged into this genre specific unmixed comp. Vol 1 was one of our most successful release's to date and with the calibre of artists featured on Vol 2, there is no reason why this compilation will not be competing its predecessor. We have label bosses Dylan Rhymes & Meat Katie appearing along side Lot49 favourites Vandal, Lee combs & Kid Blue, and we are also treated to some of the finest up and coming talent out there right now in the shape of Utku.s, Misk & Neon Stereo. This is a 'must have' for any self respecting Electro Fan & DJ Coming soon... Meat katie 'BIZARRE IS BEAUTIFULL' Lot49 (Out Now) Meat Katie is back and armed with his latest single 'Bizarre is Beautiful'. This is his first Breaks single in sometime, and what a single it is. A chunky grinding Bass-line, underpins this late night growler coupled with his infectious heavy percussion and all the Techy over tones you would expect from this Tech-Funk Pioneer. Relentless in its approach, Bizarre Is Beautiful has seen action on dance floors from Hong kong to Kiev, by some of the worlds biggest DJ's showing there is room for cool, credible, stripped back breaks in nearly any kind of set. Listen to Bizarre is Beautiful http://soundcloud.com/lot49/meat-katie-bizarre-is-beautiful-lot49-out-now Remix comes courtesy US Technorist Lightknife who turns in a slamming and chaotic remix that effortlessly builds to an almighty climax, expect to be hearing a lot more from LightKnife on Lot49 in the near future. The man can't go wrong, and these three bangers are proof of his versatility. 10/10." [InTheMix Magazine] It's been a great year for me from start to finish. 'Revamped' dropped in March & held 14 positions in the overall Top 50 on Beatport, and went on to smash the breaks chart holding numbers 1-12 for well over two weeks, and throughout the summer I was fortunate enough to play some killer Festival shows all over the world, including Glastonbury, Kendal Calling, Shambhala, Wickerman and the big daddy, Burning Man. Throughout I've tried to strike a balance between free Revamped downloads (there have been at least 6 this year - check www.eliteforcemusic.com ) and official label releases, with this 3-tracker being the last of those this year. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you three XXL, tried & tested floor-killers that I hope you'll pick up to keep the fires burning this winter! 6. The Loops of Fury - Rack Em / Pump Up [UAA039] BEATPORT EXCLUSIVE - 28th July 2010 CLICK HERE TO SAMPLE/BUY > http://bit.ly/rackem ALL OTHER STORES - 9th August 2010 Brisbane's Loops of Fury burst onto the scene last summer with their massive anthem 'Flick The Switch'. Since then their sound's developed, and their 'BattleWeapon Techno' (as they like to describe it) has been winning fans across the board, from James Zabiela to Plump DJs. On this brand new single, we have two tracks for you. The first, 'Rack'Em' is a low-slung, compulsive slice of electro-techno, hooky but never too obvious, and a perfect choice for those dark & dirty backrooms. When Sacha received this he was instantly in touch giving it a 5/5 rating and demanding a WAV for the weekend's sets. AUDIO : Rack Em Second track 'Pump Up' is much more of a bruising affair ... heading more in the direction of Boyz Noise & the french school of punk-electro, this is a peaktime banger sure to kick your face off. AUDIO : Pump Up Responses have been great & in keeping with the Loops's inexorable rise to the top ... "Brisbane's Loop of Fury return on Elite Force's evergreen U&A. Rack Em carries a low slung underground techno feel to it, but with it' big beats will see big plays across the board. Pump Up, takes a different route and smacks of rough electro sound of the likes of Boy Noize. Strong sound system music that takes no prisoners! 8/10" [i-DJ Magazine] "Whoa - hold the phone. This isn't the Chemical Brothers? Right gotcha. It's the Loops and it gets better than that. This is hot shit electro techno fused with gorgeous lasers, wobbles and most importantly POWER! Love it!" [InTheMix Magazine] "Wicked release guys - 5/5 - please send the WAV!" [Sacha (Worldwide)] "Wicked Bug Out Sounds. Quality tracks! Elite Force - Law of Life Remixes #2 [UAA038] [Nom De Strip, The Loops of Fury, Access Denied] BEATPORT EXCLUSIVE - 5th July 2010 CLICK HERE TO SAMPLE/BUY ALL OTHER STORES - 19th July 2010 Elite Force's huge 'Revamped' project dropped 15 massive bombs on the world back in March, and went on to dominate the Beatport charts in an unprecedented manner, holding all of the the Top 12 places in the breaks chart for close to a month & at one point all of the album tracks were in the Top 50 overall chart. This second package of remixes of 'The Law of Life' goes out to the electro-heads and features some cracking re-works. First up the ex-Stupid Fresh man and superstar in his own right, Nom de Strip, who smacks up a HUGE wobbling peaktime bit of bidniz with a side order of WHOMP. The second mix comes from The Loops of Fury, fresh from remixing for the Plumps' new label, and they come in HARD with an epic Boyz-Noise-meets-Chemical-Battle-Weapons mix that is already an anthem in Elite Force's current sets. Last but by no means least is an amazing mix that goes out to the beat-lovers and features a cracking re-working from Belarussian breaks-king Access Denied, fresh from his own chart-topping exploits with his recent singles. This time around they have drafted in the vocal talents of Ashley Slater & Kristian Booth under their 'Iconical' moniker 'Only You' is a brooding slab of melting electro trash! Rektchordz – Speaker Bump (Featuring Remixes by The Loops of Fury, Vaski & Pete Jordan) U&A stalwart Rektchordz (aka Jamie Smithson) is back & firing on all cylinders with his latest bomb from the tech-funk trenches. 'Speaker Bump' is prime time techy tackle for electro-heads with a familiar vocal hook and a whole world of whomp, we expect this to appeal to many of his previous supporters, including Laurent Garnier, James Zabiela, Meat Katie, Nick Warren, Slam and Will Bailey amongst many others. On remix duty, fresh from remixing the debut single on the Plump DJs new label, The Loops of Fury come correct with their Battleweapon techno-take. We then have mixes from two very different but equally exciting emerging production talents ... first up, Beatport-topping dubstep superstar -in-waiting 'Vaski' smacks the living daylights out of it with a seismic rumbler, whilst Spectum legend 'Pete Jordan's reworking is a massive wonky classic to keep the warehouse kids more than happy. 13. LOT49 RELEASE NEWS UPDATE LOT49058 FUSSY BOY "JONNI" + ROBOSAPIENS REMIX Straight off the back of his epic remix of Dylan Rhymes' and Tom Real's "Godzilla", Fussy Boy returns to the scene with his first killer single - "Jonni" This rocket of a tune starts with an unassuming Tech groove and cascades into a searing synth frenzy that has the early signs of becoming Fussy Boy's trademark sound. Showing partiality towards fierce peak time numbers, as demonstrated here with "Jonni" it's easy to see why Fussy Boy has already gained the support of Mstrkrft, Boys Noize, D.I.M. and the like and looks set to make a heavy mark on the Indie Dance/Nu Disco (or electro house if you are beatport) scene this year. On the flip - Robosapians step up to the remix duties, putting their very own techy spin on the lead track with a techno re-rub. A darker and more driving take on the original, focusing on rolling bass grooves and a tripped out melody that slowly builds into something more relentless. This track is pure late night filth in the way that Lot49 does it best. A solid first single from Fussy Boy and another Lot49 classic in the making. Expect to be hearing both of these throughout clubland for the foreseeable future. Here Florida-based Lee Coombs and Lot49 deliver an exclusive album extra entitled 'Punji' and in true Lot49 style there are a few very tasty remixes to boot. The original mix is a no holds barred monster of a dancefloor cut and is a powerful example of Coombs negotiating exquisitely a mixture of the various breaks influences he has accrued over his long spanning career. As you'd expect with Coombs, pounding kicks, naughty arpeggiated lines winding snake-like through the mids, unnerving vocal cuts and a trademark breakdown dropping briefly into a hip hop motif before smashing back into the main theme – quite simply, top stuff. On remix duties we have the veritable Zodiac Cartel and very little need to be said about this man who seriously laid down the skills in 2009 to position himself as one of the 'go-to' producers in the warehouse field. Here on Punji he picks up the theme from Lee's original and runs with it producing a jacking bassline house classic - the very style that has given him such notoriety. Completing the Punji package is our debut remix commission for Lot49's 'New Lot Competition' finalists The Omega Men. Here they take things a little deeper and a touch lighter on the theme to produce a distinctive late-night tech-house roller. Watch out for the breakdown on this one too - it’s massive. Elite Force - Revamped [u&A Recordings] *OUT NOW* BUY > Revamped Store (Exclusive outlet for enhanced content, including 30-minute alternative Revamped DJ Mix, Signed CDs &Vinyl, Limited Edition hand-numbered prints, high quality limited edition Elite Force T-Shirts & exclusive digital downloads) BUY > Beatport (Exclusive outlet for unmixed digital tracks and full continuous mix download) BUY > Juno (CD &Vinyl purchases - CD postage-free) “I decided to embark on a whole new extension of the re-edit idea looking at creating a number of brand new tracks out of components taken from older tunes… proper mash-ups. Some were born out of simple live jams that evolved into finely tuned studio creations, whilst others were ground-up rebuilds where I was effectively writing new pieces of music using samples from other tracks. There was no fixed way of working and no sacred cows that went un-plundered.” [Elite Force] The long-awaited 'Revamped' album from mashup supremo Elite Force, is finally with us. With a list of Revamped artists that include Wolfgang Gartner, The Propellerheads, Plump DJs, Datsik, Vandal, Calvertron, Stanton Warriors, Meat Katie, Daniele Papini, Popof, Bar9, Bassbin Twins, Dylan Rhymes, Hatiras &Classixx (amongst many more), these re-workings are often closer to new productions than simple edits, a point made very eloquently by iDJ who observed that 'we have entered a whole new paradigm in mashupology' with the release of this album. The buzz around Revamped has been immense, with 5 star reviews in many of the major magazines and blogs, radio support from Eddy Temple-Morris, Lauren Laverne, Kissy Sell-Out, Jay Cunning, The Loose Cannons, Rob Da Bank, Annie Nightingale and Nick Grimshaw, two #1s on Hypem with the Prevamped series of free downloads, a Beatport #1 for the first single 'Party Phenomenon' (within 48-hours of release), and a series of major headline slots worldwide that included massive shows at Breakfest (Perth), Burning Man (Nevada) and the Olympic Stadium (Sevilla) amongst many others! "Thanks to Elite Force, we have entered a whole new paradigm in mashupology ... he has created a collection of numbers that sound like original compositions, such are the intricacies of his tailoring." [iDJ Magazine] "From dubstep to tech-funk, this electrifying bunch of ace mash-ups mixed into a coherent, genre-traversing blend is a must-have" [DJ Magazine (album reviews)] "This is one of the single most important, captivating and crucial mixes / album of the new decade" [inTheMix Magazine] "Hands down the most powerful release at the turn of the new year." [Knowledge Magazine] "The originator of the anti-genre DJ-style 'tech-funk' takes the realms of cross-genre production to another effortless high with Re:Vamped. In a nutshell, this kicks. 5/5" [Mixmag Reviews]

[simon Jackson (Wickerman)] Zodiac Cartel releases are always big news for U&A, and this exclusive, one-off BOMBSHELL of a tune is possibly his biggest to date. The Cartel has recently been in hot demand, remixing for Moby, Lee Coombs, Circuit Freq, Tai and Lee Coombs and is currently beavering away on some brand new material to drop in the middle of the year. This radical re-working of his 'Sweet Control' smash from late last year is simply huge (check the breakdowns). 17. In February, Elite Force releases a landmark album of re-fixes, mashups & re-edits, 'RE:VAMPED'. There were some cracking reworks that U&A were unable to get licensed for the album, so they decided we'd do a series of free downloads under the 'PRE:VAMPED' banner, prior to it's release. This is the second in the series (the first one, the Hypem-topping Deadmau5' re-fix is included at the new website www.eliteforcemusic.com ). This re-fix of the TC/Caspa 'Where's My Money?' has single-handedly kickstarted a dubstepbreaks sound that many are now pushing, and has had a wicked reaction from peeple across the board, with Radio One, KissFM, XFM & Galaxy all having it on HEAVY rotation. It has also picked up 6,000 plays on Soundcloud along the way. GRAB IT HERE - FREE DOWNLOAD Select DJ Reactions ... "Elite Force and Caspa TOGETHER! 19. A mix compilation from U&A Recordings has been on the cards for some time now. With a burgeoning reputation as one of the most exciting, eclectic & visionary labels in the electronic firmament, it was only a matter of time before some of the many highlights from the catalogue to date appeared in time-honoured DJ mix fashion. In keeping with the label's ethos of developing new, young talent, mix duties were handed over to emerging superstars, The Loops of Fury, who have taken some of the finest tracks to appear on the label to date as well as exclusives from The Loops & Zodiac Cartel and dropped the perfect blend of electro-techno, perfectly encapsulating the sound of U&A. “The Loops of Fury have crafted a mix that not only puts the talent of U&A on display, but it also epitomises the absolute quality that this label outputs from month to month and year to year. An absolute must” [inTheMix Magazine] The compilation is available on CD from our very own brand new online store, and we have deliberately priced these at the lowest end of 'mid-price' we could afford, and have included P+P in the cost so you know there are no hidden extras!! 22. Mike Hulme - 100mg Remixed by Stupid Fresh & The Loops of Fury OUT NOW :: Exclusively at BEATPORT QUOTES "Hulme's U&A debut doses us with the most warped dark techno I've heard in months. Accompanied by Stupid Fresh's appropriately kick ass dark electro and The Loops of Fury's magnificently glitched, grinding and pumping remix, this single is an absolute monster!" [inTheMix Magazine] "Not many labels can leap from releasing a breakbeat banger one month to this sort of thing the next - and do it convincingly - U&A seems to have the knack though. All are bruisers, but i think I'm going for Stupid Fresh's remix for the daft factor. Possibly the best thing they've ever done? Loops Of Fury are bang on the money, too." [i-DJ RECOMMENDED RELEASE] DJ RESPONSES "Looooove the Original. 5/5" [style of Eye] "Loops of Fury Mix is excellent. 5/5" [Plump DJs] "Boooooommmmmmm!!!! 23. OUT NOW :: Exclusively at Beatport AUDITION AUDIO :: BUY MP3 The tech-funk dons are back to deliver an anthemic, peaktime riff-athon in the massive 'Non-Believer'. Reminiscent of Daft Punk doing battle with a band of outlaw robotic slam dancers in a techno mosphit, this is headbang electro of the highest order, with outstanding DJ feedback from radio, press & DJs alike. "The tech-funk masters once again combine their studio skills for a pure stomping slab of 4/4 brilliance. The incessant beat just builds and builds in a simple yet effective fashion showing that often less is more. Certainly not minimal, just working on rhythms, some effects and a pure understanding of what it is to drive a crowd insane!!" [iDJ Reviews] GET IT HERE Also out on U&A last week .... OUT NOW :: Exclusively at Beatport AUDITION AUDIO (Butter Party Remix) AUDITION AUDIO (Dopamine Remix) BUY MP3s With the chart-topping breakbeat smasher of the original of "Believe" having done the business big-time, U&A now focus on the remix package on Meat Katie & Elite Force's 'Believe' single. Two antipodean legends step up to the plate to deliver some grinding bigroom filth. U&A regular 'Butter Party' is no stranger to the higher echelons of the Beatport charts, and this tub-thumping electro cracker is sure to enhance his status, giving the Dysons & Gartners a really run for their money. The second mix is a wicked, heads down chunk of dancefloor funk from Dopamine, one of our favourite producers @ U&A, who once again turns up the chug for this deep-fuelled late night trawl through the tech-funk firmament with a heads-down mix of genius proportions. With support coming from the likes of Dubfire, Mark Knight, Jelo, DJ Bam Bam, Dylan Rhymes, Hatiras, Hybrid, Lee Coombs & DJ Dan amongst many others, this is another essential U&A release to add to the collection! GET IT HERE Thanks for the support - as ever, sHack
