I'm a huge fan of the band Wonderlick so I figured I'd share this with everyone. If you don't know them, they're an alternative band similar to They Might Be Giants, The Flaming Lips and Fountains of Wayne. They all used to be in a band called Too Much Joy who used to be a big deal in the 90's. They're doing a contest on their website. All you have to do is record a video of yourself dancing to Wonderlick’s “This Song Is A Commercial”, (the theme song from the show Here Come The Newlyweds), upload it to YouTube, and send in the link.

For the submission form and such, go to http://www.rockridgemusic.com/wonderlick/.

You could win a one year subscription to Rhapsody and a 4GB Philips GoGear Vibe MP3 player!

Sorry if this feels spammy or whatever, I just thought I'd share that exciting news with you all.

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
