Pack Up & Dance presents SOUL MINORITY debut EP

Laurent Garnier“Absolutely brilliant, deep and lovely. Full support from me.

Super funky house grooves in there, u can be sure that I will play the hell out of them.We need more music like this “

SOUL MINORITY - ‘A Soul Thing Ep’ . After the success of the ‘Cosmic Force’ remix for Andy Cato (Pack Up And Dance Recordings), Soul Minority shows no sign of losing stride with this release.

DJ MAG My pick of the three-track EP is ‘Soul Thing’ - simply, deep house done right. The arrangement is subtle and soulful without being overwhelming, and great drums, chords and silky bassline grab your attention right away. The instantly recognizable sample from Eddie Amador doesn’t take away from the deep house goodness; it’s actually a pleasant surprise. The cut has a vibe like all those Guidance records we know and love. Highly recommended.

Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
