So once again, it’s birthday time at Summit…!!!

Having put on many different styles of night and concepts for our clubbers in the last year, it’s time to bring together all the best bits as we prepare to take the jump to an even bigger venue.

“More Summit Above 160!” we hear you cry? Well put on your battle gear and head for The Mass and Babalou nightclubs at The St. Matthews Church in Brixton on November 22nd. It’s gonna be Vicious, it’s gonna be hardcore, so get ready to witness… The Clash of the Titans!

For our 3rd birthday, we’re going all out in a style like you’ve never seen before. We have summoned the sounds of Summit’s hard dance, Summit Above 160’s Hardcore, and the pumping house and electro sounds of Summit Dirty.

3 main room quality line ups await you, and an awesome showdown between some of the scene’s great pioneers and leaders of the sounds.

Enter the Lion’s Pit for the Summit Room, where we have an EXCLUSIVE, never before seen 3 hour back to back onslaught set between the ‘Great Titans’ Paul Glazby, Andy Farley and Ben Stevens. Closely followed by the beautiful hard dance Princess Cally Gage and her two loyal generals, Pickup & Rise. Expect brand new material from the Elements ALIVE PA, and also Kye Shand and Paul F. Jack Van Challis and Phil Young are back on turntable duties together with Kevsey D to complete the had dance line up.

If you like it even faster, then you’ll head for the Colosseum Arena for Summit Above 160, where Hixxy, Billy Daniel Bunter and UFO lead the way together with our Resident Ben Skinner and his legion of DJ’s that are ready to whip up a storm of uplifting anthems, together with your lyrical hosts of the evening: MC’s Whizzkid, Spenno, Chit Chat, Fabio Da Body and Monkey Magic.

Thinking of getting down and dirty in a church on our birthday, then you should head down to the Electro Crypt of Babalou where our Summit Dirty roster provides a hot and pumping vibe together with exclusive VIP booths for those who want that little extra luxury from their night. Jack Michaels, Yiannis Balkizas, and globe trotting DJ Anna Kiss play alongside many others.

The time has come for….. ‘The Clash of the Titans’!!

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
