Where have the past twelve months gone!?

Since our very first party in 2004, Nocturnal has established itself as one of the most innovative club nights on the South Coast, been chosen by DJ Magazine as one of the top 3 nights in the UK and regularly hosts some of the best DJs around including Ame, Ashley Beedle, Benji B, Greg Wilson, Maurice Fulton, Rainer Truby and the Unabombers.

To celebrate another year of future soul music, we thought it was only fitting to let our residents Lloyd & Fazz loose on the decks all night long. Expect an extra special journey into sonic soul science as the pair weave a contemporary mix of boogie, disco and deep house with their trademark subtlety and energy.

What’s more, we will also be transforming the Soul Cellar with full decor for this special night and handing out a specially recorded Birthday CD packed full of Nocturnal classics from the past four years.

Happy Birthday Nocturnal! Here’s to another year of late night boozing, schmoozing and grooving...

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
