Lock up your daughters... it's the Northern Quarter!

We're going back to school. Fresh pencil case, itchy jumper and ready to make some new friends! Afrikan Boy (M.I.A's Zig Zag Records) is the most exciting thing to happen to the grime scene this year, fresh and funny, he can teach us how to shoplift in Lidl too! Riz MC is the popular kid in class. An actor, poet and a pretty hot MC. Riz MC for Head Boy! Santogold's Martelo is gonna be throwing all the parties, proper trouble! Caspa may be the joker of the class but be ready, because this boy's got seeeerious bass. Finally, class defect Si Armstrong repped us at the festivals and is back for re-sits, he aint going anywhere. Summer may be out but now the fun can really begin!

LIVE: AFRIKAN BOY + RIZ MC + MARTELO

DJS: CASPA+ SI ARMSTRONG

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
