Genghis Tron is a three-piece experimental band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania who combine metal and electronic music. Note they have no bass player or drummer.

They're alright. I was hoping for strictly instrumental. Have to pass on the vocals. For me, there was promise before the guitarist started, then things got off-time and haywire.

I'm guessing they're a newer band, not by the fact I haven't heard them before, but by the low-budget sounding performance. Even if better media had been used, it wouldn't have changed the sound drastically.

After listening to more, I have to agree. I could never get into the whole screaming growling thing with metal. I like to be able to understand a singer, otherwise just don't sing at all.

That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
