I don't have a clue. I started out today with a series of meetings - more to come this afternoon. I hope things wind down so I can kick back the rest of the weekend. Might catch some movies - any suggestions?

Howaboutyou?

Dude...I walked out of I Am Legend because it scared the hell out of me...If you like screaming scary/on the edge of your seat, biting your friggin' nails thrilling...and that was only the first 45 min. LOL I had to leave...lollll People were clapping when I left .... (just kidding) I can't do those movies anymore..

I'm working on my house tomorrow. Hanging a door and painting my bedroom.

Sunday: studio HOPEFULLY. :guitarplay1:

Sunday night: board games with the family.

Have a great weekend all.

Workin all weekend. I would rather stay at home in bed!! I have a sore throat from coughing too damn much!! Wish this weather would make up it's mind...warm one day cold the next....I'm never going to get well!!

Sorry for the rant!! Now I have to go fold some shirts for work before I leave!

The script was pretty good, but I'm not interested in seeing the movie. On another note, the playoff football games today were great - I actually had several invites to get togethers to watch the games.. I'm hangin' out at a friend's house on Monday - some business, some play.

the script is stolen from 28 Days Later

Not true. The script was around long before Danny Boyle's film was made - I know the writer and the script has been sitting on my book shelf (its dated 11/96). FYI, it's not unusual for similar subject matter to be found in different movies, because usually the concepts are in everyone's subconscious; just a trend or sorts.

how do you know that Danny Boyle's wasn't before that?

because i read everything during that time period and was a fan of the script. i would probably have seen danny boy's script if it was around...his film was made around 2002...i saw just about everything in the 90s

Well...we went to see Cloverfield over the weekend and I have to say I really liked it! It's shot like the Blair Witch Project (camcorder...shaky screen) but after getting through the first 1/2 hr...you get used to it. I was scared but I behaved myself in the theater...

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
