Tonight, Beatking takes a music video tour around the world, begining in East LA with a little Latin funk from Ozomatli. We then turn down South of the Border for a set with Mexico's rockers Kinky, and then head up to Austin to hear Joe Walsh and Steve Cropper peform live at the Crossroads Guitar Festival. We close out the first leg of the trip in Austin with a little ambient breather from Stars Of The Lid, before heading out in the morning to the Motor City for some gothic country from Blanche. We then split the states for a little sunshine and a bit of retro reggae from Bob Marley, before heading across the Atlantic for a dip in the past with Led Zeppelin and Mott the Hoople, and then check out England's latest, the jammin' punks, The Ludes. We end our whirlwind trip in Paris with a little Champagne, Serge Gainsburg and special guest, Bridgette Bardot. Enjoy.

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
