Ten years of Sonar Kollektiv simply means ten years in which the Jazzanova members have been appearing around the world as purveyors of quality music joining the dots from all musical genres. Through their great international success Jazzanova has established the basis for Sonar Kollektiv. There achievements speak for themselves and form the basis for an ever-growing network of artists across the world with music from all genres being selected for their label whether it be dub and reggae through to techno or jazz.

Joining head bosses Jazzanova tonight we welcome the latest addition to the Sonar Kollektiv roster and one of the most anticipated live debuts. Christian Prommers' Drum lesson Project will take to the stage for the first time ever in the UK. Drum lessons' unique jazz twist on electronic dance classics such as Isolee's "Beau Mot Plage", Derrick Mays "Strings of Life" and Josh Winks' "Higher State of Consciousness" have turned heads across all musical genres and promises to be an explosive live debut!

Finally we welcome Peter Kruder long time friend of Jazzanova and supporter of Sonar Kollektiv. In his own right as one half of Kruder & Dorfmeister and head boss of G-Stone he too has shaped dance music over the past ten years. Tonight he makes a very rare London appearance!

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
