LIFE UNDERNEATH EP

TURTLE TAP RECORDINGS [TTR001]

"Launching this new label and we like the sound of what Turtle Tap has to offer if this is anything to go by. The deep qualities of Moon Stones with musical feelgood vibes and a bassline that keeps the track from drifting offtrack too far make for perfect deep house sets/ warm up use. Life Underneath is certainly the more lively of the two tracks with trance influences from the synth sounds to the delays - but not a cheesy riff in sight thankfully. A very fresh new sound here and from this fine start we hope to hear a lot more along these lines". M8 Magazine

Hitting #13 on Balance Record Pool Chart and supported by many DJs - Chloe Harris, Deepsky, Saeed Younan, Villo and Thee-O, just to name a few - Turtle Tap's debut release brings together two of the most promising Israeli producers Yaron Ilani and Tripo (aka Raul Ron).

This upcoming EP includes 2 original tracks: Moon Stones and Life Underneath.

In stores starting Aug 1st 2007.

"This is a top 3 tune for me right now, its fuckin massive I love this track and will be laying it thick all summer" (Villo / Balance US)

"Excellent track - great melodies and atmospheric stabs" (Jon Sinclair)

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
