I'd vote for Kucinich or Gore, probably Edwards. Neither Hillary or Obama excite me. The Republicans candidates so far are a joke

Not familiar enough with Kucinich.

I'd vote for Michael Jackson before Gore. He stands for nothing, like most politicians. He is bottom of the gene pool.

Edwards can't get to the bottom of the gene pool because Hillary and Gore beat him to it.

Neither Hillary or Obama excite me.

There is an understatement 4sure. A year ago I thought Obama might be a real person. I am starting to have doubts. I had no such misgivings about Hillary however. She is and always has been the turd in the punch bowl.

As a Republican, it pains me to agree with you but I do. The joke is on us.

We are sooooo screwed.

Not a lot of info there. He looks good on his own website. We will see how he holds up under scrutiny or mudslinging, whichever comes first.

Hillary may look good on her website but it is somewhat doubtful. There is only so much you can do to spice up a shit sandwich.

I have wasted too much time already on this thread. I need to try to maintain a policy of not getting involved in political discussions. It takes time away from stealing music.

Now playing:

Temptations - Ball Of Confusion (That's What The World Is Today)

It was true over 35 yrs ago when they recorded it. Some things never change.

EDIT:

I didn't read the second link. Did you add it later? It didn't pop up with the other one originally. I'll have to check it out later.

His 10 key issues look good on paper but implementing them will be the problem.

Guaranteed Quality Education, Pre-K Through College

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
