SXSW anyone?

Along with their current tour around the states, Peachcake is gonna be at SXSW this year. Anyone going to that?

And if you haven't heard of them yet, click here to check them out. I think they're pretty cool. They have that electronica/rock sound to them.

Alabama 3 played there in 1998. with the band's fucked karma, nobody knew who they were. one year later and the

Sopranos came out.

ps, Chris was at SxSW last year, he said it sucked; mostly sneaker-gazing bullshit et al.

They always have some good bands, and its a great place to showcase your stuff if you are a new band. I want to go the technology workshops--they usually have some interesting people there

yeah, i agree w/you about the tech workshops; been reading about the confirmed speakers. for that, i'd go. for the music? nah.
