Is the song one of Jame's Brown's, or is it by another artist doing a cover, e.g. Cash Money & Marvelous's "Where's the Party At?"

no. its a FUNK soul song, and it begins with the james brown intro "...mr dynamite... jaaames brown. then the melodhy goes and then talking "who ask where's the party at..."

then the song start... "stop... and groove..."

I wonder if it's a mix which begins with the James Brown intro and then goes to a version by someone else??? I'm stumped...

Hey! I got it! It's "Let's Rock 'n Roll" by Atlantic Starr.

I knew it sounded like one of the bands I either skated roller disco to, or played on the R&B station I used to work at... so I started browsing the Disco category on iTunes Music Store to see if anything rang a bell and there it was.
