'I'll never stop taking drugs' PETE DOHERTY claims

Pete Doherty has admitted he will never be able to stop taking drugs.....

The junkie rocker - who had to promise his supermodel fiance Kate Moss he would stay clean before she would agree to marry him - has confessed he can't live without narcotics.

Speaking on BBC documentary series 'Arena: Pete Doherty', he said: "Abstaining isn't really my thing. I don't think I'll ever give up drugs.

"But I do know I don't think I can keep smoking crack anymore. Not just because of the police, but because it was f**king my life up."

Pete, 27, was admitted to London rehab clinic The Priory in August where he received treatment for heroin and crack cocaine addiction.

After a string of arrests and court appearances he recently passed a court-ordered drugs test and was commended by a magistrate for his efforts to clean up.

However, since he left rehab to tour with his band Babyshambles, Pete has been partying hard and allegedly assaulted a photographer in Italy.

Last month, Kate, 32, confirmed she is engaged to the bad boy musician. The couple plan to tie the knot on her 33rd birthday in January.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
