Human Touch - Bruce Springsteen

Growing up in Pennsylvania, I unlike most of my friends at Penn State, did not flip over the Asbury, Park sensation Bruce Springsteen - I didn't get what the fuss was all about. At UCLA, I took a class in which we were given the unique opportunity of seeing a behind the scenes look at a Bruce Springsteen concert--all the business and performance aspects, including box seats at one of his concerts--this was at the height of his Born to Run period. I thought the man was very professional, and I warmed up to the music a little bit. But it wasn't until Human Touch that I actually began to like his music... It seemed to me that there was a shift in his writing that went beyond his growing up years to something more universal--plus I think professionally he was stretching himself.. Anyways, here is Human Touch...curious as to your thoughts

Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
