I never met him, but I knew his sister and have been to his brother Miles' house and have met his father. His brother, who managed the police lives in Raymond Burr's mansion - he had it decorated in art deco throughout. Interesting legacy he created - he was the brains behind the Police breaking out.

His father, Miles, was not just an intelligence officer - he was high up in the OSS and a co-creator of the CIA. Now you know where they got all those acronyms for his bands and labels - The Police, IRS Records, etc

A friend was a regular at his bar in Beverly Hills and he swears it remains one of the best eateries in the city.

Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
