Rico Nasty solidified herself as one artist to look out for in 2019 after having the biggest year of her career in 2018. The rapper released his major label debut, Nasty which received critical praise and landed on numerous year-end lists. She began releasing several one-off singles following the project's release including "Wanna Do," "Guap (LaLaLa)," and "Big Dick Energy." Now, she's back with her first release of the year, "Roof."

Rico Nasty comes through with her abrasive new single, "Roof." The new single connects Rico Nasty with Kenny Beats who is also coming off of a highly productive year. Rico hops on an aggressive punk-infused instrumental while honing into her inner-Joan Jett.

This song could possibly be on an upcoming project between Rico and Kenny. Earlier this month, he tweeted that he and Rico wrapped up a project within five days. When it drops remains a mystery but given the release of "Roof," it could be soon.

Quotable Lyrics
You the hood rollercoaster, n***as like to ride you
How you hatin' in the daytime?
Go getchu some money and worryin' how I ride
Bass hit heavy and I hit it every damn time
He said he want my number, so I gave that boy the hotline

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
