We all know we are paying way to much for gas and by now, most know why but, no one is doing a thing about it!! In Tucson lately, we've had border issues and the kids walking out of schools and such, May 1st we are supposed to not go to work or buy anything to protest the border crossers and i'm thinking, what the hell is this over really nothing, we should be marching down streets-refusing to by gas, or as little as possible per week-making a huge noise over all of us in the US and everywhere really getting screwed every single day by these huge oil Corps.

I say, all next week-everybody-everywhere, buy as little gas per week as possible-buy from the smaller guys, not the Gas stations from these huge Corps.-don't drive if ya can-car pool-lets finally send a message!!

You saw the reports on how much profit these guys have made off the backs of us all, This needs to stop NOW!! Our gov. can't and won't do a thing, the Corps. know this. The people are the only ones who can do this!! If we can get gas down to 99 cents a gallon at least, those Corps. would still be makeing more money than most of us will ever see in our life times and much much more in their quarterly reports!!

There is no reason why this has to go on any more if we-the people will just do something about it starting NOW!!

A lot of times, the gas stations you know in your towns are owned by little guys, but they get the gas from the big guys. You'd be hurting the little guy more than the big guy.

Huge Wind farm proposed for New Zealand....now this is what i call "power to the people"....

A huge wind farm is planned for Central Otago in the South Island of New Zealand, with Meridian Energy hoping to build on the Lammermoor Range, west of Dunedin.

A spokesperson for the company, Gerald Raymond, says the plan is to establish a 176-turbine facility across five private properties.

He says the wind farm would be one of the largest in the Southern Hemisphere and would supply 630 megawatts of power - almost enough to meet the needs of the whole of the South Island.

It is anticipated the wind farm could provide enough energy to power 330,000 homes; there are 360,000 homes in the South Island.

Raymond says the property owners support the idea and agreements with them are being worked through.

Meridian is also starting consultation with the wider community, with information days to be held at a number of sites in central Otago in the coming week.
