Surf City Records artist Toe Head will perform at Tattoo expo!

Want to rock out? Go to the Inkslingers Ball on April 21st!

Surf City Records high energy, rock four piece, Toe Head, will be performing along side tons of other great musical guests at the 15th Annual Inkslingers Ball. This world-wide tattoo expo will be visiting the Anaheim Angel Stadium April 21-23.

Toe Head will be performing at 5:20 p.m. on April 21.

Purchase the official Inkslingers Ball compilation CD, a coagulation of more than 40 tracks from some of the fantastic acts you will see performing live at the event. Proceeds from the CD, and $2 from each ticket sale will be donated to Life Through Art, Right to Rock, Second Chance, LB Memorial Breast Center, and Safehouse.

Want to get inked? Get another or pop the needle cherry at this fast paced expo. Virtually anyone who’s anyone in the tattoo world with be there with legendary artists such as Gill Montie, Jack Armstrong, Wess Grimm, Deano Cook, Patti Kelly and Judy Parker, just to mention some.

Already inked? Show off the wicked art on your body! There will be plenty of contests to enter including Best Tribal, Best Black and White, Best Color and Best Sleeve.

What goes hand in hand with tats? Piercings! On the second floor, there will be collaborations of piercing and fashion vendors who put the X in counter culture. Explore quality clothes from the opposite side of the fashion spectrum. There will be an Xtreme Fashion Show on the Cat Walk Stage displaying models from the Goddess Freak Ensemble.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
      You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention. 
      But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
