I have been using gaim at work with good results--seems like the usually oppressive blocking software doesn't know about gaim, so i slip under the radar so to speak. ;)

meebo looks like a good back-up just so long as it too stays under the radar and they don't block its isp... <_>

www.easymessage.net works good, too ... it is something i have been able to use, under the radar, so far, in school ... very simple messenger for multiple protocols ... maybe another backup?? ... : )
