DVDs are lifesavers. There's no real reason to be bored when you have a couple discs and a laptop at your side. Just yesterday, I watched the first season of House M.D. while waiting for my delayed flight at O'Hare International Airport. That was fun, but then I remembered I was missing Good Eats with Alton Brown on the Food Network (in high-def, mos-def). Sadness. Portable media is great, but there are some times when I need the variety that TV brings me.
