Sony Settles On NY Payola Investigation

One of the biggest music companies, Sony BMG Music Entertainment, agreed Monday to pay $10 million and to stop paying radio station employees to feature its artists to settle an investigation by New York Attorney General Eliot Spitzer.

I bet that little marketing plan had quite a pay off... to bad for them that's very illegal.

I must admit part of me does admire their "we'll do whatever it takes" attitude... but on the other hand you'd think that they'd pick up artists that do a better job of selling themselves to the public w/out dirty under the rug pay-offs.

Spitzer stomps more ass than any other political figure I've ever seen.

I never get tired of reading about whose ass is being handed to them by Spitzer.

I might vote for him in 2006 when he runs for governor of New York State.
