I just read some lyrics for this band called "Pavement", after reading some reviews at Amazon.com about how they're "cryptic and inspiring" and other such kiss-ass bullshit.

Well, they are nothing but overly forced abstraction with no cohesion or appeal what-so-ever. It just doesn't fit.

As for the music, they can't play for shit and the lead singer is almost impossible to understand anyway, defeating the lyrical kiss-ass comments.

In conclusion, if the whole band sucked so much ass, I don't see how the lead singer is going to be any better by himself.
