It's tough to say if her situation is funny. Who among us wouldn't count ourselves fortunate to have a friend, in this case a famous friend, who didn't just write us off when we were charged? Instead our friend came into our trial and re-told a 'creative interpretation' of the incident to help us get off the hook.

She broke the law, but I can respect her for her willingness to risk it all for a friend. We should all be so lucky.

I have this old song of theirs from around 1995 which I like a lot called "player's anthem".  I like the lyrics of the song

niggers, grab your dicks if you love hip hop

bitches, rub your titties if you like big poppa

I like the lyrics - the writer has a unique way with their words

it's obvious you haven't been on NYC subways; i last heard similar shit in january (i'd forgotten about that until then...now i wanna forget again). no wait--actually i heard this guy at the amerikan consulate in london, muttering similar shit under his breath...the security guard/cop was trying to throw his ass out cause someone complained they felt threatened.

That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
