New Microsoft Products Aim to Take Ground From Phones

SAN FRANCISCO, March 8 - Microsoft introduced three software products on Tuesday that are intended to blur the lines between traditional phones and computer networks within corporations.

The company is searching for ways to bring new life to the increasingly mature market for its Office programs. It has set its sights on what it calls real-time collaboration software as its next big area of growth.
