Sufjan Stevens has announced a tour in support of his forthcoming record Carrie & Lowell, the follow-up to 2010's The Age of Adz. Check out the dates below. On his Tumblr, Stevens said, "I’M GOING ON TOUR. Come see my ugly face in person."

Carrie & Lowell is out March 30 in Europe and March 31 in North America via Asthmatic Kitty. The cover is a photograph of the titular Carrie and Lowell, Stevens' mother and stepfather. It's being billed as a return to Stevens' "folk roots."

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
