Until The Ribbon Breaks and Run The Jewels Team Up For "Revolution Indifference" Video

Until The Ribbon Breaks have shared a music video for "Revolution Indifference", which features Run The Jewels and appears on their forthcoming debut album, A Lesson Unlearnt. The video was directed by Storme Whitby-Grubb and Until the Ribbon Breaks' Peter Lawrie Winfield, and features both El-P and Killer Mike rapping amongst a cluster of onlooking mannequins. Check it out below.

Said Winfield of the video:

We are a strange breed sometimes. Pocket sized personal computers permanently stuck to our thumbs. We swipe left, right, eyes down, seemingly entirely indifferent to the world outside our own social networks. "Revolution Indifference" is about all of us hurtling towards compete apathy, and eventual total collapse, generic smartphone in tow. Who best to call up when approaching such a joyous subject? Our good friends and super villain duo: Run the Jewels.

Ps....it's meant to be fun too. A pinch of salt.

Meanwhile, in anticipation of the new album, Until The Ribbon Breaks have shared the tracklist along with the itinerary for their upcoming winter tour with London Grammar. The album is out January 20.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
