Panda Bear's new album is called Panda Bear Meets the Grim Reaper, and it's out on January 13 via Domino. (There's an incredible promo video for the album featuring, you guessed it, the Grim Reaper holding a stuffed panda.) It's the follow-up to 2011's Tomboy, and the first single is called "Mr Noah". Watch the official video for that track, directed by AB/CD/CD, below.

"Mr. Noah" is also the title track of a surprise four-song EP that's out right now. Find the tracklist for both the album and the EP below.

Pre-orders of the album include 3xLP sets, 2xCD sets, deluxe downloads, and t-shirts. Limited orders will also receive a double sided 12" x 12" lithograph featuring art from Marco Papiro and lyrics.

Peter "Sonic Boom" Kember, the former Spacemen 3 member who also worked with Panda Bear on his last album, worked on this album as well.

Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
