Wha'ts going on Music Fans?

Tom Petty has always been a huge supporter of reduced priced music. Now with digital downloads such as Napster and iTunes, we can get music for real cheap. You can now download entire albums for about $10.00. this will save you at least $5.00. I just found out through Universal that Tom Petty's entire MCA catalog is available for downloading!!! you can go to www.tompetty.com for more info. What do you guys think about this whole downloading thing?

Well, $10 bucks is better than $15; course they save money with no shipping or packaging costs. Hopefully, as downloading becomes more popular, prices will lower and libraries will be opened up. But right now, its just an ok deal..

Business aside, which is your favorite Tom Petty album?

Don't really have a favorite album. I do really like his greatest hits CD. (hopefully that's not a cop-out answer to your question).

That is a pretty vanilla answer, lol. I like petty's music and enjoy all his albums I've heard, but I enjoy the Traveling Wilbury group, which he was an original member of, even more. What an all-star lineup that was.

That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
