Here's a popular Doo-Wop tune from the fifties that I'm sure Redneck rocked to at the Drive In movie theaters

WHO'S THAT KNOCKING

(Johnson / Jones)

The Genies - 1959

Who's that knocking on my door

All last night and the night before

Boom boom boom, bang bang bang

I can't stand this awful thing

Who's that knocking on my door

Who's that party down in my lane

???? ???? ???? window pane

Boom boom boom, bang bang bang

Far too hard for me to say

Who's that knocking on my door

All last night, as I lie in bed

With my lights down low

I heard a-something, who's that

Boom boom boom, bang bang bang

On my door

Who's that knocking on my door

Could it be neighbours, could it be ????

Got myself in an awful fix

I got involved with those two chicks

Who's that knocking on my door

(Instrumental Break)

Who's that knocking on my door

All last night and the night before

Boom boom boom, bang bang bang

I can't tell most anything

Who's that knocking on my door

Doo-doop, doo-doop, doo wah, bang bang bang

Doo-doop, doo-doop, doo wah, bang bang bang

Doo-doop, doo-doop, doo wah, bang bang bang

All night long

That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
