Someone said the room at the Wildhorse was too large, so we decided on 12th & Porter. Then, we learned that 12th & Porter is closing, so we are still looking for a venue. Meanwhile, here are some words from Annie.
Annie B Bio (In her own words)
Raised in Quincy, Illinois, I come from a strong Catholic farming family. I am very close to my mother, father and brother. They have supported my singing career since I was very young. I also share the same dream with my significant other/best friend. He traveled in a Christian band for many years and I in the Country business. We are both working hard to be a positive influence to our fans.
After college, I moved to Nashville, TN. I didn't know a single person and didn't know where to begin. I had been to Nashville in high school for a show choir competition and knew from that moment on, I wanted to start my career there. It has been nothing short of a long journey; filled with many trials and tribulations. When they say you have to pay your dues in Nashville, they are beyond right! It was all worth it though, because I am following my heart and sharing the gift God gave me.
This year alone has been huge for me as an artist. I met a songwriter named Jim Colyer who has so graciously written for me, funded a project and took interest in my talents. I am also working with John Thompson, an amazing arranger and background vocalist, along with Kenny Royster, a fantastic producer and engineer. All of us together have been Blessed with the tools to make an amazing record. I'm so excited to share the end result!
My mission is to bring my life experiences to the table and hope that the songs will help many others get through their own obstacles. I am so grateful to start this journey with family, friends and all of my fans! God Bless!

We are in for some long nights and short days. There are scientific and astronomical reasons for them, so there is no use getting depressed or letting the prolonged darkness bother us. Planet Earth is revolving around the sun at a speed of 67,000 miles per hour. Our planet's orbit is 585 million miles long. One trip around the sun (our star) is what we call a year. Our seasons result from the 23 1/2 degree tilt of Earth's axis. And since Earth's axis always points in the same direction, there is a stretch in our orbit during which the Northern Hemisphere leans away from the sun. Receiving less sunlight means less energy, less light and heat. Plants and animals compensate. Humans generally take the sun for granted, but it is the source of all life on Earth, indeed the source of the earth itself as the planets, asteroids and comets all formed from stuff left over when the sun formed. Do not despair! Earth will race through our dark months and once more return to the part of its orbit where our hemisphere leans toward our life-giving star. This will be the spring and summer of 2015!

Scientists search the solar system for places where life might exist. Mercury and Venus are too hostile. Mercury is basically a ball of iron, the core of a planet. The three ingredients making life possible on Earth are energy from the sun, water and organic compounds (those containing carbon, oxygen, hydrogen and nitrogen). Planet formation is discussed, and the possible role of comets. Comets contain amino acids, the seeds of life. It is believed that water once flowed on Mars, and one guy calls Mars an ice cube covered with dirt. These people desperately want to find extraterrestrial life while Curiosity roams Mars looking for organic molecules. Further out, it is hinted that Jupiter's moon Europa may harbor life in oceans beneath its ice. Finally, it is suggested that Saturn's moons Enceladus and Titan may have internal energy sources. Titan has lakes of liquid methane, and astrobiologists wonder whether different kinds of life might form in liquids other than water. Planet-hunter Geoff Marcy closes the show. From TV's Nova. -
