  2. It's a sad day for She's Gotta Have It fans as it is reported that Netflix has canceled the show after only two seasons. Spike Lee's remake of his cult classic film of the same name follows the story of Lee's 1986 original as it chronicled the polyamorous, artistic life of Nola Darling as she navigates through self-discovery, art, love, and unconventional relationships. DeWanda Wise starred as the principal character and acted alongside Ilfenesh Hadera, Anthony Ramos, Lyric Bent, Chyna Layne, Cleo Anthony, and Fat Joe. Ted Sarandos, the Chief Content Officer at Netflix issued a statement about the cancelation by saying, “Spike Lee is one of the greatest filmmakers of all time and we’re thrilled he brought the series She’s Gotta Have It(1986, based on his first feature film) to Netflix. While this is our last season, we’re very proud that it will be on our service for years to come, and excited to be working with Spike on his upcoming Netflix film Da 5 Bloods.” Lee's forthcoming Netflix film is reportedly about a group of friends who are also Vietnam War veterans. They return to the places where they faced tragedies in battle as they hunt for both the remains of a friend they lost in the war along with buried treasure. The film stars Giancarlo Esposito (who also worked with Lee on Do the Right Thing), Delroy Lindo (who worked with Lee on Malcolm X, Crooklyn, & Clockers), Clarke Peters (who worked with Lee on Red Hook Summer), and Isiah Whitlock Jr. (who worked with Lee on She Hate Me, 25th Hour, Red Hook Summer, Chi-Raq and BlacKkKlansman). 3. It's been a difficult road for Lamar Odom. He's battled trauma, pain, abuse, addictions, a near-death experience, and recovery. He is now facing a life without basketball, something that is counted as yet another loss, as it was recently announced that he's been deactivated from the BIG3 League. The former Los Angeles Lakers star shared his disappointment with the league's decision on Instagram, but he made it clear that he's walking away from his brief experience with a positive outlook. Days later, the Darkness To Light best-selling author decided to be transparent with his 473,000 followers on IG in hopes of inspiring them with his story. "We think we live, but many of us we really don’t; we are on auto pilot," Odom wrote. "We are not even aware of this until conflict knocks down our doors. These moments or periods make us reflect back on ourselves. Who is really in control of my life? Me or my past? Have I become everything I hated? My beautiful escape from the pain of life has always been basketball. The first thing I did when I heard that my Mom passed away, was run to my childhood court in Lincoln park and escape there. Being deactivated from the Big 3 has made me realize that I can no longer depend on basketball to find emotional relief from the inevitable hurdles of life. I've made a decision to stop this time, reflect for real and not run away or escape - not into basketball or anything else." Odom said that in this time, he's dedicated to rebuilding his relationships with his children because he doesn't want them to inherit his dysfunctions and traumas. "Together with my daughter Destiny and the mother of my children, Liza Morales, I am going to use this opportunity to connect to my children and break the cycle of my past," he wrote. "All three of us have been through extreme difficulties, individually and as a family, that we have not spoken about." He also announced that he's partnered with MicDrop, a motivational public speaking firm that helps people heal through effective communication. The company shared a promo video starring Odom that begins with them asking if the sports star is happy. He responds by telling them no. When they ask why not, he quickly states that there are many reasons, none of which he wanted to talk about. Check it out below. View the full article
  4. Someone unleashed the Teyana Taylor's' inner beast and she didn't care who witnessed it. Taylor was at an event minding her business when she got into a confrontation with members of Floyd Mayweather's The Money Team. A witness captured the moment on camera and viewers can see that whatever went down was serious because Taylor was squared up and ready. Another man attempted to quell the situation by standing in front of Taylor, but she made sure that her grievances were heard. According to The Shade Room, Taylor asked one of the men from TMT a question, but instead of answering, he responded disrespectfully and called her out of her name. This angered the singer and she went off on him. After the social media outlet shared the Snapchat clip, Taylor jumped in the comments to clarify that she wasn't acting out of character over something insignificant. "A persons tone can be at level 1 but DISRESPECT can be at level 100," she wrote. "Trust & believe if I’m going off on someone it’s w/ very good reasoning. I will not tolerate any disrespect from anyone, idc who the hell he work for." Snoop Dogg can be seen in the video clip standinig nearby, but he didn't seem to want to get involved in the altercation. He did, however, also share his thoughts on the situation in the video's comments. "She from Harlem. Don’t. Play with my niece ," he wrote. Lil Duval said that this behavior isn't anything new. "That’s normal everyday teyana ," he joked. View the full article
  5. So So Def icon Jermaine Dupri has been instrumental in helping to shape the careers of some of our favorite top-selling hip hop and R&B artists, but that doesn't make him above criticism. He recently told PEOPLE that he was unable to name his favorite female rapper in the game right now because, according to him, it seems as if they're all spitting bars about the same thing. He claimed that they all were "strippers rapping" and no one artist was trying to put themselves on the map as the best above the others. The social media backlash was swift, and in the past week, there has been high-praise for talented female hip hop artists that have been long ignored or unnoticed. Dupri's bestie Da Brat flourished under his guidance, and when TMZ caught up with her, she stood by her friend, calling him a genius. "You should be thankful that the conversation is even started now, all female rappers, because now the focus is absolutely on us," Brat said. "New [artists], seasoned [artists], legends. All that." Finally, Dupri is clarifying his controversial comments. "I think it's something that's just been brewing before I was even asked the question," Dupri told TMZ. "I wasn't aware that it's been brewing. I tell people like...I saw what Cardi said. Cardi started her message off by basically saying, now that Jermaine Dupri has said it, I'm gonna address it. That means, to me, somebody had already said it to her or she's heard it before. So I just feel like it's something that people have already been talking about and for some reason [my comment] just became the loudest." "There's a million artists rapping," he continued. "There's a million female artists that's out here rapping. Everybody continues to keep getting...what my statement was, was about the three that she asked me about. It wasn't about a general conversation about female rap, but everybody turned it into that. 'He said all female rappers sound like this!' And I'm like, I never said all female rappers. I never said that one time." "The one thing I want to make clear on is people keep saying 'sexist.' I'm far from a sexist. Let's not do that. That's terrible." There are also no regrets on Dupri's part as far as the interview is concerned. He said he doesn't mind that he's become the verbal punching bag because he didn't diss anyone. He also mentioned that he's dropping a beat on his Soundcloud for female artists to grab so they can enter to be apart of his forthcoming cypher. View the full article
  6. Hip hop mogul Master P regularly drops knowledge on the importance of ownership, especially as it pertains to black culture. During his press rounds for his latest film I Got The Hook Up 2, a movie that recently hit theaters last week, P dropped by The Breakfast Club and discussed a myriad of topics, including black filmmakers creating films both by and for the culture. "You got to realize why it's so important," Master P said of black artists taking ownership of their work. "When we do a project like Black Panther, we didn't benefit off that man. Like, black people was in the movie and we were happy and excited, but it wasn't us." The responses to P's comment were divided, but in an interview with Rolling Out, P doubled down on his remarks. "People don’t realize how important it is for us to own our own movies," the No Limit Records CEO told the outlet. "A lot of these movies are made about our lifestyles and we don’t benefit at the end. Yeah, we create a lot of stories, but how can we put money back in the community? We only own five percent of of the production budget in Hollywood...With Black Panther, we were so excited to see black faces in a movie of that magnitude. But after the movie made billions of dollars, how much came back to our community?" P didn't seem all that concerned with those that had a problem with his Black Panther remarks because he dared them to find a lie in what he said. "I’ve been in the community 21 years giving back," the philanthropist said. "So if we don’t make successful projects, how can we give back, because they’re not going to give back to us. They’re not going to give back to the community. We have to invest in us. So I was able to give 126 people speaking roles in this movie. And we’re up for the Guinness Book of World Records for the most speaking roles in a theatrical film. That means that we are giving people opportunities." View the full article
  7. The legacy of the Geto Boys is undeniable, so when Bushwick Bill, real name Richard Stephen Shaw, succumbed to cancer last month, the hip hop world was saddened by his loss. Just prior to his death, Shaw spoke openly about wanting to secure his finances for his children by creating more music and writing a book. He even partnered with his Geto Boys groupmates for a tour, but Shaw backed out 24 hours prior to the kick-off. Recently, Geto Boys member Willie D sat down with VladTV to share his insights into the Geto Boys and his time with Shaw, but not everyone appreciated what he had to say. Willie spoke openly about Shaw's reported battle substance abuse issues and shared how the two didn't like one another. Members of Shaw's family watched the interview and believed Willie was posthumously shading Shaw, so Shaw's son, Javon Boutte, decided to clear the air. In an interview with the Murder Master Music Show, Javon said that respect and honor are important to his family, so he felt it necessary to speak up on behalf of his father. According to Javon, Shaw didn't end up going on his last tour because the other members of Geto Boys wanted to be paid, and that wasn't what the tour was about. There were also reports that the tour was supposed to be the "Bushwick Bill & Friends" tour but it kept being promoted as a "Geto Boys Tour." "The reasons my dad didn't want to go on tour for first because of the name and second because of the pay," Javon stated. "They were trying to capitalize off his sickness and make money. The reason my dad wanted to go on tour was to do an 'F Cancer Tour' to help him with his cancer treatments because it was so serious. My dad is a hard-working man. He don't want donations he would rather go out on the road to earn money for his treatments. The other band members didn't want to do a free show to raise money to help him they wanted to make money when literally he is the one dying!" Javon also said he felt as if Willie's VladTV interview painted a poor image of his father. "I saw those clips and I seen my dad give the last money out of his pocket to strangers," Javon shared. "I watched him do so many selfless acts. I went with my dad on the road to everywhere, we went to every hood in every state. He is a loving person." He went on to say that he believed Willie said certain things about Shaw because he was looking for attention. "With the solo albums from the Geto Boys everybody went platinum or gold except for Willie D. He never ever got plaques by himself, he never had his own identity. The only time he got plaques was with the Geto Boys. My dad, Scarface, Big Mike all went gold or platinum." "This worldwide group came up together and they are all as one. Why is one member bashing the other while he is not here?" Javon asked. "Even when my dad was here there was interviews of [Willie] bashing my dad and he didn't like that. It was always love with my dad." Javon also said that it was Shaw who "put Willie D on" when he told J about both Willie D and Scarface. Listen to Javon's full interview below. You can also check out Willie D's VladTV interview clips here. View the full article
  8. THEMXXNLIGHT first came on our radars about a month ago. The Indian R&B singers made quite the impression when they appeared, not once, but twice on Wiz Khalifa's last project, Rolling Papers 2. Although the project itself wasn't Wiz's strongest, the collabs with THEMXXNLIGHT stood out. From there, they continued to release new music including "Faded" with Ye Ali" and "DFWM" with SAFE. Now, they follow it up with another smooth new single. THEMXXNLIGHT came through with their new single, "Need Your Love" earlier today. The duo deliver a somber record reflecting on intoxicated thoughts. It's another solid record from them. Hopefully, the new single they released is a sign that we could expect their forthcoming project, XX, in the near future. Peep the single below. 9. The #StormArea51 event has been making waves all across the internet. At this point, a million people have signed up to invade the American military base but no one is actually certain whether it'll actually happen or not. The Facebook event itself states it's a joke with a post on its page reading, "Hello US government, this is a joke, and I do not actually intend to go ahead with this plan. I just thought it would be funny and get me some thumbsy uppies on the internet." However, in the current state of America, it's uncertain whether the conspiracy theorists will actually take this opportunity to find out what the government's been hiding at Area 51. For anyone who doesn't plan on going, a Las Vegas entertainment company plans on having a live stream of the event. Dan Callister/Getty Images Las Vegas entertainment and event company Area 15 tweeted out that they'll be hosting a streaming event for #StormArea51, for anyone who isn't actually about that life. "Okay. Now we’re curious about the storming of #AREA51. We’re going to live stream the “event” here at #AREA15 to watch what goes down. And costumes & tin foil hats are required. Leave your info & we’ll send you the details," the tweet read along with a link to their website. Even if anyone is willing to go on this mission, they should be warned that the U.S. Air Force is ready to "protect America and its assets." View the full article
  10. Kevin Spacey was one of the many men who got hit in the peak of the #MeToo movement, although his story was unique to most others. He was accused of sexually assaulting underage boys and once he was exposed, he took the opportunity to come out as gay. It's unsure who on his team thought that was an appropriate time to do so -- or if he thought people were outraged over his sexual preference -- but he was met with even more backlash. As more allegations came out, a waiter, who was 18-years-old at the time, sued Spacey for groping him at a job. Now, it appears that Spacey has managed to dodge any sort of criminal conviction for sexual assault. Tim P. Whitby/Getty Images TMZ reports Kevin Spacey's been cleared in the criminal case against him in Nantucket, Massachusetts "due to the unavailability of the complaining witness." This comes after the accuser dropped his civil lawsuit against the actor. Although there wasn't any reason as to why he decided to drop the case, there were more issues within the criminal case. The accuser plead the fifth this month after Spacey's attorney questioned him on deleted texts that could've worked in the actor's favor. The boy who accused Spacey is the son of Boston TV anchorwoman Heather Unruh who made the allegations public in the first place. As for he texts, she reportedly told investigators that she deleted a few texts from his phone related to "frat boy activities." View the full article
  11. Hoodrich Pablo Juan is having a pretty solid run right now. In addition to collaborating with Sada Baby, Lil Gotit, Sosamann, and more, he's also fresh off of the release of B.L.O: The Movie. This week alone, he released, "Myself" with Tay Keith, and earlier today, he released his new collaboration with two of Atlanta's rising stars, Lil GotIt, and Lil Keed. But he isn't done. He also linked up with DJ Champ for their new collab, "M.O.N.E.Y." Hoodrich Pablo Juan is back with a second banger for the day. 13. If you have kids of your own or have young nieces and nephews, you're probably more than likely aware of the "Baby Shark." You've probably heard it a few times which is enough to have the song drilled into your memory. It became a global phenomenon that took over pop culture this year. Travis Scott was even seen turning up in the club to "Baby Shark" which we can only assume Stormi put him onto. Ciara's the latest celebrity to hop on the "Baby Shark" wave but she did it with her own twist. Here's the thing, Ciara can essentially make anything look good at this point but the fact that she busted a whole move over "Baby Shark" is pretty impressive. Mind you, she hit the Milly Rock with a remix to "Baby Shark" which, even in a minute-long clip, is more tolerable than the original. Her kids are definitely to thank for putting her onto the song. Maybe the remix she was dancing to will be included in the new Nickelodeon TV series based on the song. Aside from Ciara's "Baby Shark" tribute, she recently celebrated her three-year anniversary with Russell Wilson earlier this month. Days later, Ciara revealed that she and Russell were hoping to expand their family in the near future. That probably means that "Baby Shark" will remain the backbone of their child-friendly playlists. View the full article

  15. Nicki Minaj caught a ton of backlash a few weeks ago after she announced she'd be performing in Saudia Arabia. Human Rights Foundations, her fans, and many other people urged her to back down from performing in the conservative kingdom that's been highly criticized for their human right violations, specifically towards women and the LGBTQ+ community. Nicki Minaj backed down from the performance in support of the marginalized communities. However, the Jeddah World Festival has now added some other large names to the line-up to compensate for Nicki's absence. Some of hip-hop's heavyweights will be touching down in Saudi Arabia tomorrow for Jeddah Music Festival following Nicki's cancelation. 50 Cent, Tyga, Chris Brown, Future, and Janet Jackson have been announced as performers for the controversial festival at King Abdullah Sports Stadium. They'll be joining the likes of the previously-announced performers, Liam Payne, and Steve Aoki. The HRF weren't solely at Nicki's neck about performing in Saudi Arabia. President of the Human Rights Foundation told AP that it was “profoundly distressing that they have chosen money over morals.” “These individuals constantly make public statements of support for LGBT rights and women’s rights, except, apparently, when a seven-figure check is attached. The hypocrisy is breathtaking. Principal apparently matters to them far more than principles," he said in a statement. It’s clear that, after losing Nicki Minaj on the basis of the Saudi regime’s atrocious human rights record and their treatment of women and the gay community, the Crown Prince has chosen to spend whatever it takes to give the appearance that things are normal and that this is just another music concert. Except it isn’t." View the full article
  16. If ya'll recall, it was just last month when André 3000 was spotted randomly wandering around an airport whilst playing his flute (as you do). The ever-smiley artist was more than happy to take pictures with Latina NPR radio producer, Antonia Cereijido, seemingly in good spirits. It seems as though 3 Stacks' flute has some sort of zen-juice laced in it, as The Philadelphia Inquirer reported this past Sundaythat Philadelphia residents had started spotting the iconic OutKast rapper, at various spots in the City of Brotherly Love on different occasions throughout the week, and he was glad to stop and pose for pictures with anyone who thought to approach him. Speaking with The Inquirer, Dayna Allen recounted her spectacularly unplanned encounter with the rap legend. In the moment right before she spotted him, Allen happened to be taking a FaceTime call as she was waiting to board her plane back to West Philly. At that point, 3 Stacks casually breezed by her playing the flute, but she didn't even realize it was him until after she was already on the plane. Days later, on the 9th, Philadelphia resident Russ Jackson actually met the the rapper. “When I walked past him the first time, I didn’t approach him," Jackson remembers. "I just saw a guy, but he kind of fit the mold of André 3000. As I was walking, it started to click that it was probably him.” Sure enough, the man who "fit the mold" indeed turned out to be André 3000. Jackson decided to pluck up the courage to go speak to the legend after being held at a traffic light, and soon after the pair met, 3 Stacks allegedly took to performing a flute solo. A few other lucky Philly residents spotted André out and about on the streets, you can see some of the encounters below. View the full article
  17. “I like all types of women. I accept them as they are when they come into my life… But I’m not a romantic. I’m just up-front,” Future told Complex in 2015 -- a statement that essentially encapsulates everything about DS2 and the entity that is Future. Art imitates life in the case of Future and DS2 is a testimony to that, as he embraced his own villainy and dove into his hedonism head first. Off the top, Future boastfully brags that he “fucked your girl in some Gucci flip-flops” -- a line that not only lives on as one of the most savage flexes but could also be credited for birthing the rise of Gucci sliders in the rap game. But that’s another story. DS2 turns four today and even years later, it carries the same magic it had in the summer of 2015. Before jumping into the greatness of DS2, it should be noted that the album concluded an epic mixtape run that included Beast Mode, Monster, and 56 Nights. But that run only came after his highly publicized relationship with Ciara began to crumble in the public eye. “Best thing I did was fall out of love,” Future raps on “Kno The Meaning,” a song exploring the story behind DJ Esco’s incarceration in Dubai over weed possession. But that bar in and of itself sums up Future’s career post-CiCi. He was locked in more than ever but even after his break-up, he found himself facing more setbacks. But he only became a hotter entity from there, not only solidifying himself in the realm of hip-hop but in the overall face of pop culture. Honest was filled with incredible records that further showcased Future’s pop sensibilities but his subsequent run showcased his ability to mesh both his commercial appeal and ability to speak to the streets. Prince Williams/Getty Images His unapologetic tone comes out throughout the project. He indulges in lean, percs and Xanax as if trying to prove to the late Salvador Dali that he is actually drugs. “I just did a dose of Percocet with some strippers/ I just poured this lean in my cup like it’s liquor/ I Just need a whole lot of drugs in my system/ I just tried acid for the first time, I feel good,” Future raps on “The Percocet & Stripper Joint.” There have been a ton of rappers who’ve compared themselves to Jimi Hendrix -- Drake included -- but Future might actually be the closest to being there. He indulges in his vices -- from drugs to women -- as you’d imagine a rockstar in the 70s like Hendrix would’ve done. But behind the drugs, women and the money, hides a man filled with pain and sorrow. Maybe that’s why he openly shares characteristics of a sociopath in his music but it still sounds like more of a coping mechanism. That pain isn’t necessarily heartbreak but issues that stem from the bleak reality of the streets. A trapper who’s managed to escape the fate of death or incarceration but is still feeling the residual effects of his experience in Lil Mexico. He often reflects on that pain while juxtaposing it with vivid details of his hedonistic and luxurious lifestyle. “I been taking Molly, rockin’ Tommy/ Tom Ford, n***a, walkin’ like a zombie/ Standing in the trenches screaming “murder!"/ You need to take that n***a off and try to serve him,” he raps on the Zaytoven-produced, “Real Sisters.” Future’s DS2 was a culmination of an entire year’s worth of heartbreak, setbacks, and pain. Even if it is celebratory in nature, the inner-torment of Future peaks out in unconventional ways. But it captures Future in his most real and honest form. He holds no bars across the album and even with all the madness surrounding him, he's found a place of comfort within it. If Future is the captain of the City Boys this summer, DS2 is the soundtrack. 18. This year's NBA offseason has been one for the ages and perhaps the most surprising move came when the Oklahoma City Thunder traded Paul George to the Los Angeles Clippers. George wanted to join Kawhi Leonard to create a dynamic duo that has the potential to dominate the NBA for years to come. Of course, the trade left Russell Westbrook to his own devices in OKC and he quickly requested a trade out of there. Eventually, the Houston Rockets took a waiver on Westbrook and gave up Chris Paul in the process. The Thunder are looking to rebuild and at first, it seemed as though Paul didn't fit that goal. It was reported that Paul wouldn't play a single game in OKC and that they were shopping him around. According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the Thunder are no longer looking to trade Paul and it is believed that he will be on the roster once the season starts. One theory as to why these talks have stopped is because of his large contract. There aren't many teams out there who can afford him due to salary cap restrictions and it wouldn't make sense for them to make a deal. The Miami Heat were considered to be a suitor for Paul but as of right now, it looks like that's not going to happen. For now, Paul and the Thunder are stuck with each other for the foreseeable future, unless of course, a team comes out of the woodwork. View the full article
  19. Ellie Goulding and Juice WRLD came through last month with the anti-love track "Hate Me" about wanting to erase someone from your head after a bad ending that can sometimes go down in a relationship. Today they've come through with the official video for the song that touches on some social media aspects of our century with the knife emoji and a selfie moment that kicks off at the beginning. "The truth of the matter is that humans are crazy and do fucked up things to people, and that's the truth," Ellie explained to Beats 1 of the song. "I realized that I can always try and wear these rose-tinted glasses when it comes to my own past relationships or my friends' relationships, but actually when it comes down to it some things are just really messed up. Sometimes I think you need to hear that. You need to hear it...to sort of validate your own situation, and it happens a lot. I played it to Juice Wrld, he loved it and wanted to be involved." 22. Just a few weeks back, rapper and executive producer, 50 Cent, took the world by storm when he suddenly announced that he would actually not be ending his acclaimed series, Power, after its sixth season after all. Power actor, Michael Rainey Jr., announced sometime in mid-June, that production on the show's sixth season had wrapped up. Variety had reported prior to that, that the show would see its end with this final season, during which Fiddy would make his directional debut in the third episode. With the success of the show becoming evident over the last few years however, decisions were being made to possibly create a few spin-offs to delve deeper into specific characters and their storylines, that is, until 50 ultimately decided that they actually wouldn't be ending the show. "I have decided not to end POWER," announced Fiddy, with the simple explanation of: "when you see season 6 you will understand why. Smh too good." The show, which is set to premier on August 25th, recently released their new trailer, which you can check out below. Fans all over were surely elated to hear the news, with one fan in particular attempting to use his star status as a way to sway Fiddy into getting him in on the prime-time action. Atlanta rapper Rich The Kid (who has evidently revealed himself as a huge Power fan) took to shooting his shot on Instagram, when he slid in the "21 Questions" rappers comment section to ask for a role. "Put a nigga on the show " commented RTK, on a picture of Fiddy looking pretty beefed standing in front a private jet with the caption "On the move again POWER Seasons 6 you know the Vibes." Tanisha is still fighting the long hard battle to becoming Emani's legal guardian amid the tragic passing of Nipsey Hussle. The 10-year-old is said to be in the custody of Nipsey's immediate family while the court is still in the process of deciding who will be her sole guardian. Tanisha has been slammed for her past ways that have affected her getting full custody. "If everyone was truly interested in doing what is best for Emani, they would treat me as her mother and not in the manner that they have," she recently stated. View the full article

Yes, that's right, Floyd Mayweather is apparently very interested in fighting Khabib and is practically "begging" for it to happen. This news should come with just a little bit of skepticism though as it's coming from Khabib's manager, Ali Abdelaziz. Abdelaziz is known for seeking publicity and recently, he told TMZ about Mayweather's insistence on a fight. "Floyd Mayweather to this day keeps begging to fight Khabib, begging!" Abdelaziz explained. "I'm telling you, people reaching out to me every week about Floyd to fight Khabib but at the end of the day, we're not interested ... for now." Back in 2017, Mayweather got to fight Conor McGregor and eventually won in the tenth round. Had Mayweather crossed over into the world of MMA, it probably would have been a different story. If Mayweather and Khabib were to get in the boxing ring, who do you think would win? Sound off in the comments below. View the full article
  25. Is FaceApp safe to use? There have been several people chiming in on the fun new viral craze by saying that it actually poses a security hazard. Once you start using the photo-editing app, you reportedly sign away much of your identity for use in Russia, which sounds pretty terrifying. If you're a paranoid person, stay away from the trend. However, if you're anything like Meek Mill, Drake, Dwyane Wade, and more, then go right ahead. The FaceApp Old Age Challenge has taken the world by storm with celebrities all rushing to upload shots of themselves from the future, giving fans a glimpse at what they may look like in fifty years. The latest artist to try out the app is Young Thug, who looks pretty dapper in his entry. Aaron J. Thornton/Getty Images Young Thug still has a lot of time before he starts getting grey in his beard but until then, he's got FaceApp to help him imagine himself with wrinkles and a more mature face. The 27-year-old recording artist is one of the most famous people in the world and like the rest of his musical peers, he's been intrigued by the accuracy of FaceApp's facial recognition software. As you surely know by now, the app uses existing photos to create a version of you from the future, showing what you may look like in your eighties. When it comes to Thugger, he's still rocking tons of designer drip and jewelry, he's just got more profound markings on his face and a greying goatee. Still looking great, though!
