  1. Dwight Howard was a significant member of the Los Angeles Lakers this past season as he helped the team win a championship. The star center saw a career-resurgence where he was able to shake off some of the bad omens of the past and heading into the offseason, it was clear he would be a hot commodity. In fact, Howard was reportedly being pursued by the Golden State Warriors, while also garnering interest from the Lakers. Tonight, Howard opted to sign with the Philadelphia 76ers, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic. What makes this 76ers news so shocking, is the fact that just about an hour earlier, Howard tweeted that he would be coming back to the Lakers and that the "purple and gold never gets old." Well, clearly, it got old pretty fast as Howard deleted his tweet, forcing Charania to update his story on the fly, only for Howard to sign with the 76ers just an hour later. This news will certainly come as a surprise to Lakers fans who were hoping to hold onto Howard, although this is great for the 76ers who now have even more size on the roster. In fact, Howard will be reunited with Danny Green who was traded to the Sixers in exchange for Al Horford. For now, it seems like Daryl Morey is already creating quite the team in Philadelphia. 2. He's happily in love with his girlfriend Saweetie, so Quavo was quick to deny the rumors that he was secretly having sex with Lil Wayne's daughter, Reginae Carter. It was during Jeezy and Gucci Mane's epic Verzuz that comedian Gerald Houston caught the attention of the public when he questioned Quavo in the comments, asking the Migos rapper if he was bedding the reality star. Jerritt Clark / Stringer / Geetty Images "Internet Crazy Man," Quavo tweeted after a screenshot of Houston's remark went viral. "Not Weezy Daughter No!" People quickly began to crack jokes and make assumptions, even with the denial. Reginae also came forward to address the gossip and shut down any prospect of truth to Houston's allegations. "Guys .. let’s not run with a story that was made in a VS comment area by someone I don’t even know," she penned on Twitter. "It’s really sick how miserable people can be very much fake news." Meanwhile, Houston hasn't said much about why he decided to take aim at Quavo and Reginae, but he has a bit of a reputation as a troll, so it was most likely done to capture attention, as it did. Check out Reginae Carer's response below. View the full article
  3. Rumors regarding whether or not Summer Walker was pregnant have been brewing for some time, but the singer recently announced that she is expecting. The Over It hitmaker posted a photo to her Instagram page just hours ago where she shows off her growing baby bump. Summer turned off the comments so she can avoid any negative feedback and captioned the image with angelic emojis. Summer and her on-again-off-again-in-again boyfriend, superproducer London On Da Track, have recently reignited their romance after she gave a public declaration that they had once again broken up. There was a video that went viral showing what looked like a pregnant Summer, however, the singer came forward to deny that she was with child. The public wasn't convinced, especially after she shared a photo of herself with Erykah Badu, a doula who also helped Teyana Taylor give birth to both of her children. Aside from the pregnancy news, Summer issued a warning to people who see her and try to secretly take snap photos without her knowledge. "The next mf I catch tryna sneak a pic or vid of me & try to send it to a blog I'm whopping they ass respectfully :)," the singer wrote on her Instagram Story. "Lmao this fame sh*t ain't for me bruh." Check out her posts below. Instagram Instagram View the full article

  5. Just a few weekends ago, Khabib Nurmagomedov defeated Justin Gaethje at UFC 254 in a dominating fashion. It was a massive victory for the fighter who is now considered to be among the best to ever step into the Octagon. However, unfortunately for the fans, Khabib announced that he would be retiring from the sport and he remained adamant that he would never come back, as he is making a promise to his father and his family. During a recent interview with TMZ, Dana White held out hope in relation to Khabib as he explained that he wholeheartedly believes the fighter was simply emotional after his win and that in a few months, he will want yet another shot at glory. "If I had to make a bet -- and I'm a betting man -- I would bet he does [return]. So, yeah, I think he will," White said. The UFC President also noted that Conor McGregor, Dustin Poirier, Tony Ferguson, and Michael Chandler are all fight soon, and could prove to be worthy challengers for Khabib. "We'll see how all these things play out here ... One of those guys would definitely be in for the fight." For all of the UFC fans out there, McGregor would certainly be the most intriguing matchup, especially when you consider how McGregor has been jonesing for a rematch for quite some time. If McGregor defeats Poirier at UFC 257, perhaps it could very well happen. [Via] View the full article
  6. The conclusion of 2020 is quickly approaching, and for music fans, Verzuz has been a light during this unpredictable year. Timbaland and Swizz Beatz's brainchild has become a leading force in online programming, moving from shared screens on Instagram Live to full-on, mini-concert productions airing on Apple TV. One of the earliest match-ups came from beloved artists and producers Mannie Fresh and Scott Storch, and while it was a refreshing walk down memory lane to hear the two relive some of their greatest hits, Swizz Beatz believes that both artists deserve another Verzuz look. "I think that was an unfair Verzuz, to be honest," Swizz told GQ. "I think we owe Scott Storch a rematch, and I think we owe Mannie Fresh a better match. I think that one was a little bit off with the curation." Also in the article, Storch describes the pairing with Mannie Fresh to be something he didn't believe was balanced. "At the last second, moments before the battle, I was told it was going to be me against Mannie Fresh," said Storch. "I felt that he and I, our catalogs live much further away from each other—and in different time periods as well. So it was an odd match." Storch also mentioned Mannie taking making fun of him for his previous drug addiction. "[Mannie] kept throwing jabs at me. I went through a drug addiction for a while in my life, and I’m five, almost six years out of that, and for him to kind of throw that jab was uncool," he said. "So, I came back at him a couple of times because, you know, I got stuff that's still popping right now. I’m contributing to making new superstars." We'll just have to wait and see if Storch and Mannie make second appearances with different opponents. [via] View the full article
  7. NBA free agency has just begun and there has been a whole lot of money being tossed around. Many players are staying with their current teams, while others have begun looking elsewhere in the hopes of either acquiring more money or perhaps landing on a contending team. The Sacramento Kings are a team who has struggled tremendously over the last two decades, although they seem to have a promising roster, thanks to their main star, De'Aaron Fox. Tonight, Shams Charania of The Athletic reported that Fox opted to stay put in Sacramento, as he signed a massive five-year max extension worth $163 million. There are contract bonuses and incentives worked into the deal that would allot him a supermax offering of $195.6 million, which is certainly a whole lot of cash. As the starting point guard of the Kings, Fox averaged over 21 points last year and proved himself to be one of the most effective players on the court. The Kings are a team that hasn't been able to attract top-tier free agents, which means keeping their already-established stars has to be a priority, and with Fox, they were able to keep their guy long-term. Now, Fox and the Kings will be looking to take things one step further as they look towards a potential playoff birth. Gregory Shamus/Getty Images View the full article

  12. It appears Kulture is running the Cardi B/Offset household. On Thursday night, Cardi B posted a video to Instagram of herself wearing a corset and posing seductively in front of the camera. A few seconds in, Kulture calls out for Cardi and pokes her head into the frame, trying to scope out what exactly her mother was doing. Cardi came to an abrupt stop upon Kulture’s appearance, captioning the video, “I can’t even be sexy in peace.” With Cardi having called off her divorce with Offset earlier this month, things between the pair seem to be running smoothly. Rather than being at odds with one another, the two have instead focused their time this month encouraging voter turnout among their fan bases and sharing priceless family moments like this one. Clearly, this isn’t the first time Kulture has interrupted her mother’s antics, as Cardi’s reaction indicates this is simply another day in the life. Watch the adorable video below. Earlier this week, Cardi B was named Billboard’s Woman of the Year. Despite not having dropped her sophomore album yet, her song, “WAP,” featuring Megan Thee Stallion has topped the charts since its release in August, both enamoring and angering folks worldwide with its unapologetic promiscuity. 13. Kanye West's Adidas Yeezy line has been putting in overtime this past year as numerous sneakers have been released. Since around 2017, Kanye has been ramping up his brand's efforts to make Yeezys available for everyone, and so far, it appears to be a fruitful endeavor that has helped turn him into a billionaire. One of the new silhouettes that have been pulling in numbers for Kanye is the Adidas Yeezy Boost 380 which debuted almost a full year ago. We have seen various colorways hit the market, and with 2020 about to come to a close, West has plenty more up his sleeve. One of those colorways is the "Lmnte" model which can be seen below. These photos represent the reflective model although there is a non-reflective version dropping, as well. In the images, we can see that the upper is mostly brown, all while yellow is placed on the side panels. From there, we have a gum bottom which helps add another layer to the overall feel of the shoe. For now, the release date for these remains unknown although you can expect these to drop sometime in December. Keep it locked to HNHH as we will be sure to bring you the latest updates on these. 14. Quavo appears to be in a happy, committed relationship with Saweetie. He buys her an abundance of Birkin bags, and she keeps him grounded. They seem to be in love. So what is it about these Reginae Carter rumors that are going viral on social media? Paras Griffin/Getty Images Last night, comedian/troll Gerald Huston commented as we were all watching Gucci Mane and Jeezy face off on Verzuz, asking Quavo if he was still romantically involved with Reginae Carter. The comments confused a number of people, especially considering they've never been linked as a couple. Reginae is seemingly dating YFN Lucci again and, as discussed, Quavo is with Saweetie. For some reason though, the rumors caught traction on social media and now everyone wants to know if Quavo did anything with Nae. "Internet Crazy Man," said Quavo, shutting down the cheating rumors in a since-deleted tweet. "Not Weezy Daughter No!" He added a snowflake emoji, a crying emoji, and a fingers crossed emoji. Still, despite the sheer randomness of these rumors, people are wondering if they could be true. One woman even theorized that Saweetie and Reginae could start arguing over the rapper, claiming that she's been intimate with Quavo and getting nearly 10,000 retweets. Quavo is currently a trending topic on Twitter. That's how hard these rumors are erupting. Is there any truth to them though? We're yet to find out. View the full article
  15. Last weekend, Drew Brees suffered a brutal injury as he fractured numerous ribs all while collapsing a lung. Of course, this is an injury that takes a while to recover from, which means the New Orleans Saints must now field a backup quarterback this weekend, as they take on the Atlanta Falcons. Many thought that Jameis Winston would be getting the start given the fact he replaced Brees against the 49ers last Sunday. Instead, the team has announced that Taysom Hill will be getting the start, which is a decision that led to some anger and confusion on social media. On today's episode of ESPN's First Take, Stephen A. Smith ripped the Saints for their quarterback decision, noting that Hill has thrown four passes all season and that at 30 years old, he has yet to prove himself capable of being a starting QB. "He's 30 and I don't know if he's thrown 100 passes, I don't know if he's thrown 50 passes in his career," Smith said. "Now, forgive me. I apologize because I could be wrong. And I wish him nothing but the best. [...] Jameis Winston...that is the ultimate indictment." Winston has been known for throwing a lot of interceptions, while Hill is mostly known for being a utility player who can assume any position on the field. Regardless, starting Hill over Winston is certainly controversial, but if it works and the Saints win this weekend, then pundits like Smith will have a lot to answer for on Monday. 16. Carmelo Anthony's time with the New York Knicks was full of ups and downs, although there is no denying just how exciting it was. Anthony is one of the most prolific scorers in the history of basketball and Knicks fans are fully aware of this. With his career winding down, fans have grown a soft spot for Melo, especially after his comeback campaign in Portland. Now, Anthony is a free agent and many are wondering where he will decide to go next. According to Ian Begley of SNY, there seem to be rumblings that Melo could be on course for a reunion with the New York Knicks. His close ties to Leon Rose have led to plenty of speculation, and as Begley notes, both sides have a mutual interest in one another. “I think there’s going to be mutual interest there. We’ve talked about it for a while now. Some teams expect him to end up back in New York. I’m not going that far yet, but I’m sure that they will have discussions about Carmelo returning home to the Knicks,” Begley explained. With free agency on the horizon, Melo will have a massive decision on his hands, and if he decides to go back to New York, we're sure he will receive an exceptionally warm welcome. 17. Last night could have ended horribly. After the cameras turned off, Gucci Mane and Jeezy could have went off on each other in the parking lot. They didn't though, showing maturity and progressions, and showcasing a lot of healing over their fifteen years of back-and-forth. Jeezy and Gucci Mane may still not like each other, but they're grown enough to put their differences behind them. Last night's Verzuz battle included several tense moments, some celebratory ones, and a heartwarming scene when Jeezy extended an olive branch to his rival, performing their last song together. Fresh off the adrenaline rush from Verzuz and his album release, Jeezy called into The Breakfast Club to give his insight into last night's events. "I just had to make a decision," said Jeezy about his beef with Gucci Mane. "It's going to be about what I see going on and how I can contribute and let people understand it's bigger than us. For all the things you see-- that [King] Von thing really touched me. I know [Lil] Durk well and it was surreal to get that call. Them kids. It ain't gotta be that way. It was a lot of that. What happened to Mo3, what happened to Boosie. It was a crazy weekend. You're just watching all these things happen and you're just like, damn, this is real. It's an unselfish moment. It's like a catch-22 because you have some people like, I don't know what to tell you, I'm rich, I'm grown and I wanna see all of y'all live to be in a position like myself. It was real, bro. We could have walked away and it could have been all bad." Greg Doherty/Getty Images Charlamagne Tha God went on to ask whether he thinks last night will lead to real healing between Gucci Mane and Jeezy, to which the rapper said: "I do. Because it's men-- this has been going on for almost two decades. And it was a point where we were cool. I just think everybody got a little of us. The real shit that went on, that's just something that me and him will have to figure out later on. But for y'all, I understand that the more and more and more it goes on, the worse it's going to be. Because we're at the forefront of it so everybody behind us think that's the way to go. For me, we just gotta see. You know, time heals all. That was effort, it's in front of the world. It ain't even for show. It's real life and we both need to come to grips with that and really be men." Listen to Jeezy's full 30-minute interview with The Breakfast Club below. View the full article

  21. Anthony Davis proved to be the Los Angeles Lakers' best decision this past season as he came through with an incredible campaign that saw him deliver great chemistry with LeBron James. Everyone knew Davis was a superstar player but his first year in Los Angeles was certainly a confirmation of what many had been saying for years. In the end, Davis and LeBron were able to ascend to a whole new level during the NBA playoffs, leading the Lakers to an NBA championship. Now, Davis is officially a free agent which means he has some big decisions to make. The conventional wisdom over these last few months was that Davis would return to Los Angeles although the term of his deal would be up in the air. According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, Davis is nearing a deal with the Lakers, although over the next few days, he will come to a decision on just how long he would like to remain a Laker. Some fans were worried that Davis might want to go to his hometown team, the Chicago Bulls, although after winning a championship, there is no reason for AD to go elsewhere. The Lakers will be contenders for at least the next two seasons and a Davis-LeBron tandem will definitely be difficult to take down in the postseason. 22. R.Kelly will be going on trial for sex trafficking and racketeering charges this upcoming April, after his intended July 2020 trial date was pushed back due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Jurors for the case will be selected in mid-March, and according to an order yesterday by District Judge Ann Donnelly, the trial will begin by April 7. Antonio Perez - Pool/Getty Images Earlier this month, Donnelly approved the prosecutors’ motion for an anonymous jury, stating, “Empaneling an anonymous jury is appropriate given the seriousness of the charges, the defendant's history of obstructing the judicial process, the potential for juror intimidation and the intensity of media attention given to this case.” This added measure comes in light of R.Kelly’s history of attempting to influence juries and undermining witnesses. Last year, witnesses in his 2008 child pornography case came forward to testify that Kelly had attempted to intimidate and pay them off, in order to prevent them from taking the stand. The jury did not believe witnesses during the trial, and Kelly ended up being acquitted of all charges. Last September, Kelly was assaulted in jail by a fellow inmate, who stabbed him with a pen and kicked him several times before guards intervened. [via] View the full article
  23. It goes without saying that Jeezy and Gucci Mane's historic Verzuz battle -- a duel that saw old wounds addressed head-on and new alliances forged -- has elicited no shortage of opinions from the rap community. And sadly, not all have been positive -- both Freddie Gibbs and 50 Cent used the opportunity to clown on Jeezy, citing him as soft for choosing not to react to Guwop's provocations. For the most part, however, response to Jeezy's decision to take the high road has been praised on a near-unanimous level. Jamie McCarthy/Getty Images After Jeezy decided to extend the olive branch to his old rival for the good of the culture, Royce Da 5'9" took to Instagram to share his own take on the matter. As somebody who understands the value of squashing beef and seeking unity, it's no surprise that Royce had nothing but kind words for The Snowman's restraint. "This brother is a man, today," captions Royce, alongside a portrait of Jeezy. "His level of understanding has superseded any emotional barriers that may have blocked any previous blessings." Offering up a flower emoji for emphasis, Royce made his values abundantly clear. A stark contrast to those holding on to a more street-centric philosophy, it should be noted that Royce has been involved in many conflicts throughout his own career -- and to this day, nearly all of them have been squashed. Suffice it to say, Royce is as experienced on the matter as they come, and his thoughts on Jeezy's maturity ring all the more impactful as a result. Check it out for yourself below, and sound off in the comments -- do you agree with Royce's assessment, or do you feel more aligned with that of 50 and Gibbs? View the full article
