Are there any twitter users here on Beatking?
Im trying to get some followers as well as trying to find some like minded folks to follow.

I am also still looking for people to help me promote my ChipIn (HERE) page. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
On a different note, I finally found a job! It is seasonal but it is a job none the less. I will be back in uniform sadly. The only good news is that it is a UPS uniform and not an Army uniform.
My weekend will be spent preparing to help deliver hundreds of packages a day for $8.50/hr (ouch).

So Warflower is the mysterious second donation? I saw a donation for $10 and was pretty lost. Guess I should log into Beatking more often.
As far as the job hunt, I have a job at UPS now... very limited hours but a start.
ChipIn isnt going so well though. Two donations, both from here on Beatking.

Hey Beatking, doing a little self promotion. I am trying desperately to go to school. I live in Boise, Idaho and finding a job here is like finding a needle in a hay stack. Bottom line is I am unemployed and underfunded. I spend my days job hunting, using all of my money on gas. What I am doing now is using a website called ChipIn.com to try to raise some money to help me purchase a laptop to use for school. This may not be news, and may even get deleted, but I am doing everything I can. I know Beatking is full of great people and I am hoping that some of you can help. Every little bit helps. If you can't afford to donate but you have a blog, use twitter, etc please feel free to post a link to my page. I will be forever indebted to those who help and I thank you in advance.

My brother is going to be joining me at the show. He is a country and classic rock fan about to be introduced to metal in the form of a band that will shred his face clean off! I will try to sneak some pictures with my phone so everyone can check it out.

Just wanted to say that Hulu is one of my top 5 favorite websites.
I am not very fond of sitting in front of a TV, but it is nice to be able to watch the occasional TV show on demand from anywhere with an internet connection.

I bought a Mac a few months back due to all the fanfare. It was stable, but it was just not Windows. I upgraded to a new HP Pavilion Laptop and I couldn't be happier.
That being said, I would be a "Macbook Touch" in a heartbeat if my bank account allowed it. Portability is huge in the electronics market at the moment and something like this would be amazing. Looks like we will be waiting until '09 for anything new as Apple has stated "No new products before the holidays".

I am not a huge fan of Michael Moore but after seeing this I did gain a little respect for him. Did anyone see the Michael Moore spoof movie American Carol? I thought it was pretty funny.

And Redneck4Sure... Wal-Mart's music store started selling tracks for 74 cents. Unless you were looking for cheaper then that... then head over to Jamendo for some free and legal albums.
