Listening to the album now, will have my review completed by this evening

The FCC voted to open up the "white space" between television providers for public use but President Bush and many others are against free WiFi for the masses. Read more about it here.
I think it would be great if they allowed free Wifi. The only issue is security. If they figure that out, then open it up.

One other HUGE thing is up, follow the link below to read more -

The band has an interesting background. They're punk intellectuals.
Im pretty excited. I downloaded the album and Im going to give it a listen in the morning while I am reading some more background information.
I will post more info here when I am done with the blog portion.

Tomorrow morning/afternoon I will be doing a review of the punk band Jawbreaker and their album "Dear You" . For more information check out their Wikipedia Page.
-
I have yet to hear the album, but the reviews I have seen tell me I am not missing anything. To wait this long just to disappoint is not good for GNR. I will give it a listen before I judge it myself though.

I need to blog my face off!!
I am also going to hunt for some new music to review and try to get some new pictures taken.
Plus sleeping, lost of sleeping.

Define speed metal. Different people have different interpretations of this genre.
I'll just take a guess and say YES, I LIKE SPEED METAL!!
Just quoting the video.
-
Dont like it... granted it's fast but I hate the lack of ad blocking options... or did I miss that somewhere?
It is something they are looking into with the next release. There is a stand alone program out now that can be used, but I havent tried it.

Who has DRM'd WMV files anyway??
-
Anyone using it besides me? Thoughts?
I'm happy with it, it's quick and fairly stable.
-
I didn't like what I heard. But in general, I try and keep my negative opinions to myself - people like what they like.
This is true

I have added a playlist to my blog so you would have something to jam out to while you do some reading. I am still working on the width issues and may just switch to another player. If you have any input, please let me know. If there are songs you would like to see in the list, also, please let me know. One final thing, if you want to donate change to the resident bum, please do so below:

This was a great year for music with albums from Guns n' Roses, Metallica, AC/DC, and even the legendary B.B. King. My favorite album of 2008 would probably be Chiron by All That Remains or Dreamer by Haste The Day. Looking forward to 2K9.

After a year long hiatus I am back at Beatking and ready to start posting and blogging.
I will be posting as time allows. For a more in depth update, check out my blog.
I have just one question: Do you like speed metal??
-
I gave what I could. Good luck.
Thanks a ton!

I lied, I posted in Music & Entertainment News
right here you can see it.

I just got home from a Nine Inch Nails show that was simply amazing. After all these years Trent Reznor can still move a crowd. The opening band, The Bug, was trash but the rest of the show was wild. Check out my full review over at my blog...right here!

I will continue to do the same (pimping on twitter).
I just got home from a Nine Inch Nails show, it was amazing. I will post about it in the music section.
