I like Michael Bay. Most of the time, you can only expect the crazy action blockbuster flicks from him(which are enjoyable because they're crazy action thriller flicks) but Transformers was actually pretty decently written.

How is working on an MPC? Did you use it for just drums or did you chop up a sample on it and do it all on the machine?

I don't produce much anymore. Life forces me do other things than music. But I was mainly doing hip hop and was beginning to move into more movie score-ish stuff. What about you?

Saw it on Thursday. I thought it was pretty damn good.

Never made a movie before. How is Pro-Tools? I was going to go to SAE about a year ago and take the engineering class. That would've taught me but I changed my mind. <_<

I've never tried Garageband, never worked on a Mac at all actually. Reason is meh. I got a free sample from somewhere I forgot and I didn't know how to operate anything it.

So what's everyones favorite piece of equipment/software? I'm kind of curious if we have more digital people here or not. I'm a bit of a mix. My best set up was FL Studio(w/ many plugins). I moved on and tried working with a Fantom x7 but it didn't meet my standards, unfortunately. I thought the best part of the Fantom were it's piano sounds which are amazing. Anyway, your turn. :)

awesome. Where would you suggest we take music law talk? That's always a fun subject and could be useful to the hopefuls on this site. I have some knowledge in that area.

Aaah the tech forum is where I need to be. I'm mostly just a wanna be who likes to play with music production tools rather than go any further than that. I'll look around the tech forum. :) Thanks for the replies.
