By Rob Markman Atlanta rapper and Waka Flocka Flame affiliate Slim Dunkin was shot and killed today. RapFix is still gathering details, but a source close to Dunkin has confirmed to MTV News that the Brick Squad Monopoly rapper is indeed gone. Several rappers took to Twitter to send their condolences. “RIP TO MY N---A DUNK,” wrote Brick Squad Monopoly member Wooh Da Kid. “Racks” producer Sonny Digital also expressed his grief. “The first n---a to really f--k wid a n---a b4 i was sh--. #salute to my n---a dunk! RIP SLIM DUNKIN,” he tweeted. BSM CEO Waka Flocka has yet to comment or tweet about the incident. MTV has reached out to the rapper's reps as well as the Atlanta Police Department for comment, but have yet to receive a response. Dunkin has appeared on a number of songs with Waka like “F--k the Club Up,” “Bang” and “Karma” all from Flocka’s 2010 debut Flockavelli. He was also featured heavily on Waka’s mixtapes like Twin Towers, Twin Towers 2 (No Fly Zone) and LeBron Flocka Flame 3. Dunkin was on his solo grind as well. This past Halloween the street bred MC released Menace II Society, a 20-track mixtape which featured Gucci Mane, Roscoe Dash and Pastor Troy. It's a colossal role in that sense," he said. Aside from playing his first lead role in years, Oldman also got to approach a character who internalizes most of his thoughts and emotions. George Smiley's status as an icon of TV and literature also added another layer of complexity to the role. "It was iconic before I even came," Oldman said. "I mean, there are roles that you play that can become that. It was an opportunity to really live in front of the camera. This past year the DMV rapper dropped the Self Made, Vol. 1 compilation with his Maybach Music cohorts, then he went on to drop his own The Eleven One Eleven Theory mixtape and of course his sophomore LP Ambition. Yes, Wale is still grinding, but with his new video for “Slight Work,” the MMG MC, Big Sean and the clip’s co-director Chris Brown are just having a good ole time. "Man, this video is just fun," Brown told MTV News on Thursday. "I mean, we're young, so it's only right to just do what we wanna do." "This is for the fans," Wale added. The Diplo-produced club track is easily the most energetic song on Ambition, and it seems its video will be just as upbeat. In one scene, Wale and Big Sean — wearing a fur and multiple gold chains — rap to the camera as scantily clad models dance in a graffiti-laced background. "You don't understand, man, we were just those young players looking at the OG's like, 'Damn, that's what we're trying to be,' " Big Sean said. Brown, who is co-directing with Godfrey Tabarez, seemed most excited about the collaboration. Yes, he was working the camera, but Breezy was thrilled to be kicking it with his friends too. "They done gave us a budget now," he laughed about how the trio grew from young aspiring artists to professionals with enough money to carry out their vision.
